After three days with the Everyday Arches, I’m turning my attention to another must-have bundle that was released last week – the Darling Dinos Bundle. This bundle is designed by my friend, Million Dollar Sales Achiever, Diana Gibbs. As soon as Diana earned her big sales achievement, I couldn’t wait to see what she’d come up with. She didn’t disappoint. Here’s a card I made with Diana’s Darling Dinos Bundle:
I mean, really! How adorable is this plush, sweet Tyrannosaurus Rex?! He’s made even more adorable with the fun sentiment that coordinates. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day card or a fun celebration card. Raaah! There are some other great sentiments in the set that’s you’ll want to check out (if you haven’t already). Here’s a look at the Darling Dinos Bundle:
I stamped my adorable t-rex with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with Fresh Freesia and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends. Now, I’ve never seen a purple dinosaur (or a dinosaur, for that matter), but he’s cute, right?! I had a lot of space to fill on the Stylish Shapes Circle, so I added a little Pool Party with a Blending Brush and a pair of rocks from the bundle. Here’s a closer look:
I added a 2-3/4″ band of purple and white flowers from the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper, one of the Sale-a-Bration offerings you can select for free with a $60 order. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:
I was all about the purples and pinks when I colored my dinosaur and built my card around him. When assembling the card, though, I needed an additional color to help “tone down” all of the purply-pinky tones. Pool Party was enough blue and green to help be balance the colors on my card. If you like this mix of Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Melon Mambo as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
I added four purple sequins from the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins to accent my sweet dino – these sequins are another free option with a $60 order during Sale-a-Bration. Yay!

🙂 Thanks, Mary! ♥
What a cute card ! Reminds me of “Barney” that my niece constantly carried around as a toddler! She’s 30 now!
Great use of several SAB items.
Thanks so much, Dawn! He definitely has the plushy purple appeal of Barney – perhaps my color choice [unintentionally] made him look more like Barney. 🙂 Thanks, Dawn!
This is a perfect card for my grand nephew’s birthday. So adorable! Love the sentiments in this set.
The sentiments are so fun! So glad you like it, Hilda, and hope you make it for your grand nephew! ♥
What? A purple dino just for me? Adorable card!
You KNOW you were on my mind when I completed this card, Windy! I was afraid the pink and blue were a bridge too far, but I’m glad you still feel the love. ♥
