hello with Storybook Moments

I hosted my monthly team meeting with my InKing Royalty team last night. Part of my call in our Facebook group is to inform the team members of new offerings or promotions and to encourage fun ways to use their products. While we celebrated team successes and looked at the current promotions, I multitasked for the second part of the call – and I pulled the products together to make this card:

Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper, Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Right before the call, I pulled a handful of products I have been excited to play with – the Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, the Storybook Moments Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. I wasn’t sure how I’d incorporate a black sentiment into the sweet colors in the papers, but I found a way!

Here’s a look at some of the new products I used on this card:

Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – there are SO MANY gorgeous patterns and colors in this pack of papers:

On the call, I chose the large “thank you” sentiment and colored it with the bullet tip of my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker. I, ultimately, felt it was too large, so I colored the smaller “hello” with a similar design to add to my card. Here’s a closer look:

  1. Could that little cluster of creativity be any cuter with the plaid?

  2. This card is so sweet. I love the gold twine and Hello sentiment. Perfect additions. Enjoy your day!

  3. Love the colors and the contrast between the plaid and the flowers.

  4. Look at you go with the twine and the embellishments (plus the great contrast of the ephemera pieces and the plaid). Pure BK, with the layers and the color palette, but dare I say…unexpected? for the creative step outside what I have come to think of as your “norm”. Stellar design all around ❤️

  5. So soft and pretty. Love this gingham paper!

  6. I love it, I did vote (silently) for you
to add one of the little animals though. Great card!

  7. Wow beautiful in it’s simplicity, Love the quiet plaid , fence and flowers

  8. It’s like a fresh spring breeze. It’s just blown through and swept away the dark clouds. This card is exquisite!

  9. Love the card! Brian, I may have just overlooked this, but where did you get the fence used in the card?
    Doreen.
