Thank You with Mixed Florals

Welcome to Simple Tag Wednesday! OK, so that’s not a thing, but … it could be. 🙂

When I mailed out the Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kits last week, each kit included a sweet, simple tag that I love so much! The kit featured projects with the Mixed Florals Bundle and Mixed Labels Bundle, new Online Exclusives that launched earlier this month. While both bundles are incredible, I designed the tags with one of the large, floral images from the Mixed Florals stamp set. Here’s a look at the tag:

Mixed Media Floral, thank you tag, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingThe flowers in this set are GORGEOUS when colored (our kit includes several techniques for coloring these flowers), but a little tone-on-tone stamping brings them to life, too! Here’s a look at the Mixed Florals Bundle, which includes the Mixed Florals stamp set:

Mixed Florals Bundle, Stampin Up! 164642There are so many vibrant colors in the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper that coordinates with this bundle, but I reached for a different color to create my tags. I stamped the flowers with Summer Splash ink on a 1-7/8″ x 4-1/8″ Summer Splash panel (and framed with a 2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of basic white). The outline of the flowers gave me exactly what I wanted to see on these tall, thin tags.

I added “THANK YOU” from the Simply Said stamp set and framed it with an same-sized panel of Basic Black that was offset just a bit. The sentiment gave a modern look to the flowers that mirrors the modern appeal of the suite collection.

DO NOT sleep on the Simply Said stamp set – it will be your #1 go-to sentiment set. I promise! Here’s a look at the Simply Said stamp set:

Simply Said, Stampin Up! 163756It’s a simple tag, but there’s something I really, really like about it. I was happy to toss one of these tags into each of the kits I mailed out last week.

Mixed Media Floral, thank you tag, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a little shine to the tag.

If you like this modern mix of Basic White, Summer Splash and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
