Card Starters from Amazing Friends: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of projects my amazing customers and friends made with the Card Starters I mailed to them. If you missed the projects I shared with you yesterday, I hope you’ll take a look – CLICK HERE.

A Little Background…

To foster a “last minute push” toward my milestone sales goal in January, I offered an event I called Brian’s Big Bundle Bonanza to anyone who purchased a bundle from me during the last week. I hosted the Zoom call this weekend with incredible friends who supported my last-minute push – and we all had SO MUCH FUN!

Brian's Big Bundle BonanzaBefore the call, I mailed out little envelopes of “card guts” (random pieces of Designer Series Papers, cardstock and die-cut shapes) and asked the participants to make a card with the bits and pieces I sent to them. Some made multiple cards. What made it really fun for me – each envelope was different from the others (although several contained similar products), but all of the cards were different! I encouraged participants to incorporate whatever products they wanted to build a card that made them happy.

Participants shared their finished projects on Saturday’s call (along with the projects we completed during the call). I’m so happy to share a handful of their projects here today. I’ll share more of them in the coming week, so be on the lookout!

Jennifer Lane

Here’s a look at the “card guts” I mailed to Jennifer:

Here’s the card Jennifer made:

Paulette Berkbigler

Here’s a look at the collection of bits and pieces I mailed to Paulette:

Paulette is a bit of an over-achiever (and I love that about her). She made THREE cards with the goodies I sent to her, adding some of her own, coordinating products, too. Here are the cards Paulette shared with me:

Barbara Stitt

Like Paulette, Barbara didn’t stop at one card. She found some great ways to showcase these fun papers:

Bobbi Miller

Here’s a look at the collection of “card guts” I mailed to Bobbi:

Bobbi used ALL of the elements in the packet I sent her, and I couldn’t love the outcome more (she added the little flower to her design before our call – and after the photo below – to complete the challenge). Here’s Bobbi’s card:

Susie Ingram

Here’s a look at the “card guts” I mailed to Susie:

Susie made two cards that perfectly showcase these pieces – one with apples (and fun smiley faces) and another with the citrus designs:

These are such great cards, don’t you think?! I had fun mailing out the little packets and was thrilled to  receive the cards over the past couple of weeks. I’m excited to be able to share them with you. Please leave a comment to let these artists know how much you appreciate their designs.

If you missed the first batch of cards I shared yesterday, I hope you’ll check them out – CLICK HERE.

I’ll share another batch of these fun cards in the coming days. ♥

Thanks for stopping by today!
