Back in Stock
The project I’m sharing today features the Everyday Arches Dies, an incredible set of nesting dies that are perfect for SO MANY projects on your to do list. Along with other sets of dies, the Everyday Arches Dies were backordered for a bit in February – but they returned to the warehouse this past week. As I write this post, the dies are back on the Low Inventory list, so if you want them….you know what to do.
Here are three of the bundles that were returned to the warehouse this past week:
- Everyday Arches Bundle (#164630)
- Mixed Florals Bundle (#164642)
- Storybook Friends Bundle (#164675)
Click on any of the links above to see these products in my online store. If you are in the market for some new bundles, these are three great choices. 🙂
Today’s Project
I love the shape of the Everyday Arches Dies (I’ve showcased them in a lot of projects this year). The shape reminds me of a beehive, so it was a no-brainer to reach for the Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper, Bee My Valentine stamp set and the Bee Builder Punch to make this card with the dies:
My card features THREE layers of the Everyday Arches Dies that are stacked on each other and layered with a hinge to allow a peek inside the card. The card is constructed with a standard, book-fold card base. I trimmed 1/16″ off the side of the front to make room for the hinge (more on that in a bit).
The Pool Party layer and Crumb Cake layer are adhered together with Stampin’ Dimensionals and centered of the Old Olive panel (which is glued to the card front). The Pool Party-and-Crumb Cake combo is attached to the hinge that opens up like this:
Oooh! There’s a surprise inside! You only saw the honeycomb-shaped panel behind the top panel, but I added a heart (stamped and cropped with the Bee My Valentine Bundle) and another bee (cropped from the Sweet as Can Bee Designer Series Paper).
The hinge is a 1″ wide strip of cardstock (scored at 1″). The 1″ piece is tucked under the Basic White piece on the inside of the card.
Like the sentiment on the smallest Everyday Arches Die cut and the heart on the front of the card (on the Old Olive panel), the sentiment on the inside is stamped with the Bee My Valentine stamp set. Such fun coordination!
A Look at the Products
I didn’t want to interrupt the walkthrough of my card with a bunch of eye-popping, amazing products, but I’m happy to share them now. Here’s a look at the Everyday Arches Bundle:

More with Everyday Arches
This isn’t the first time I’ve paired the Everyday Arches with a bee – here’s a look at some sweet tags I made earlier this year (you can click on the project to read more about it):
Also – in January I shared a list of ways to get the most out of your Everyday Arches Dies and filled the list with samples of projects I’ve made to showcase those suggestions. If you’d like to read more, CLICK HERE.
