Cheers to Last the Year with the Nutcracker Tags Kit – Available Today!

Page 7 of Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday Mini Catalog showcases Stampin’ Up!’s monthly kits. Along the top of that page is a series of super-cute nutcracker tags that shouldn’t be missed. Where are they!? Well, they’re available in today’s launch of THREE NEW KITS.

We received the Nutcracker Tags Kit on our recent trip to Stampin’ Up!’s home office. I’ve made an alternative project with one of the adorable characters in the kit to share with you today. Here’s the card I made with elements from the kit:

Nutcracker Tags Kit Alternative Project, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingThe nutcracker, sentiment, holly and striped band all come from this kit. I punched the nutcracker with a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch and mounted him on a 2-1/4″ Poppy Parade circle. I mounted that on a 2-3/8″ Basic White circle. Here’s a closer look:

Three New Kits – Available Today!

The Nutcracker Tags Kit is one of three new kits Stampin’ Up! has launched today. We saw all three of them in Salt Lake City – and I love all three! You might not have known this when I shared recaps of our trip, but this was your first look at these kits:

  1. Seriously adorable. Love the photo of the happy $1 million crafters, too!

  2. Love this card! You created a great background and layout!

  3. Love your card with this new kit!

  4. As usual, your alternative project would sell this kit in a heartbeat, faster than just a tag kit. Great use of cute elements and a masterful upsell with all the pieces-parts. Seriously, why aren’t you on retainer to SU for just this purpose?~ I can never tell if I’m more impressed by your creativity or subtle marketing genius! You are the consummate ENABLER!! 💕

Your alternate to this tag kit is truly amazing! I actually might buy this kit because of your idea! I’m normally not a tag person unless a card can be made using it!
    Great job!

  6. I love this adorable card, Brian. It is so you with the different layers and DSP prints. Enjoy your day!

  7. Ahhh nuts! I watched the video of the nutcracker tag kit and started dreaming of ways to make festive cards with them. I have been behind on emails and just ran across this! Oh swoon, one card solved as this is so fun! Right now I have my squirrely puppy laying on me taking a nap so catching up on some emails. So glad I did! I am too tired to come up with some puns, this pup is 7 months old today and has way too much energy for me. I spent part of the day chasing him around the house as he was consuming DSP, black twine, and I caught him running with my new ribbon scissors. Who says basset hounds are couch potatoes and not runaround much? Anyway, it is a good thing he is cute!
