I shared a handy tip in my last post about how to feed small scraps of paper into your punches. I was working on a birthday card and using my Cupcake Builder Punch. Today I am sharing the finished project.
I openly admit that a combination of Lucky Limeade and Raspberry Ripple makes me salivate. They both sound so refreshing on a hot day like today, so I decided to pair them here on a cupcake birthday card.

I have always liked this sentiment that came along with the Create a Cupcake stamp set but haven’t been quite sure how to use it – seems to take up so much space on the card. Splitting the saying between the top and bottom of the card (or the front and inside of the card) makes it work for me.
I mounted the cupcake on a circle and scallop that I adorned with cut outs from the Bitty Banners Framelits to create the illusion of an award. Hurray! It’s your birthday, and you win this card! Simple and easy.
Stamp set: Create a Cupcake Inks: Lucky Limeade, Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake Paper: Lucky Limeade, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White Accessories: Cupcake Builder Punch, 2-3/8″ Scallop Punch, 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Lucky Limeade Stampin’ Write Marker, Raspberry Ripple Stampin’ Write Marker

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks, Brooke! Glad you like it.
Wow! Stunning! And Refreshing is the perfect word here, those colors are very happy together!
Why do I feel I have to over embellish a card! your CAS style is “Classy” Great work!
Thanks! I love to see some white space on a card. It’s very easy to over-design before I sit down, but I fight myself to stop while it’s still clean and simple. I appreciate your feedback.
So cute…love the colors! Also love your blog!
Thanks, Cindy! I hope you’ll come back or even subscribe to my blog. I love all the feedback I have been getting.
Totally gorgeous…love the split sentiment, also!
Hugz2u!
Thanks, Sharon! You are too kind!
Hi Brian!
Very versitile color combo. I like the way you “separated” the sentiment – sometimes I forget about doing that. Thanks for the tip! I also appreciate your follow-up comments AND the option to receive, below.
