Take Note! Easy Note Cards

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! sells a pack of 20 pre-scored note cards with matching envelopes? Oh, you did?  Well, you’ve been doing your homework!  The Whisper White note cards are 5″ x 3-1/2″, and the coordinating envelopes are 5-1/8″ x 3-5/8″. These are PERFECT for making a quick and easy cards. A set of five note cards are a perfect gift for a coworker or friend. Everyone needs a thank you note or all-purpose note card. Do I lie?

I’ve passed over the note cards in the catalog multiple times but never paid them any mind until the Stampin’ Up! Regional Convention in August. Since then, I can’t get enough. Stamp, stamp, stamp, fold, done.

This Thursday, I am hosting a workshop so that friends can make sets of these notecards for their friends or coworkers. Wrap up five note cards, and your coworkers will think you’re amazing (which, by the way, I already think you are. I knew it the moment I met you, and I’ve been too bashful to tell you.).  I’m giving my workshop guests access to all my stamps and inks, but here are some sample cards I worked up:stampwithbrian.com - Just for You.jpg

    • {Gasp!} Jenny you Beat me to it! You should be in bed by now! Don’t you live on the other side of the Globe? 🙂 just kidding, welcome to First Spot!

  2. That looks like a Fun workshop! I love collage stamping like this! Do I have a favorite, hmm, Thanks a Million with Clockworks, I love the haberdashery of the argyle and so glad your cog wheels are in shades of brown! And the runner up would be the lovely Circle Circus, love the spray of circles across this note card! Have fun in class I SO wish I could join you! 🙂

  3. Well I am afraid this is a hard decision because there is such a spectrum of choices so I`m going to jump to what appealed to me…the matching envelope for each card . People forget that the envelope goes with the presentation ,but you have shown that is part of your art . I think to get a pack of these five would be great because there`s one for just about any occasion . Ya did it again,BoBo !!! Is your talent neverending?

  4. What a great idea for a workshop Brian! I wish I thought of it! Now when I shamelessy steal your idea, I will give you credit and direct all my customers to your blog. Your welcome.

As for a favorite, I gotta go with the Thanks a Million but I love the colors in the Wonderful You card too!

  5. Thought I would clarify my statement in regard to these cards fitting any occasion . You would have to add an assortment of sentiments of course…now I will spend my day thinking up when you don`t give people a thank you card cause it`s just not right!

  6. All of them are beautiful but my favorite is the Shell one. Sonny is right, the envelope is part of the presentation, this is the first thing we see when we open our mailboxes. It’s always a good idea to have a bunch of this little ”Thank you” notes around, you never know when you will need one.

  7. My favorite is the 1st one with Circle Circus. I like the use of the circles but love the color combination. All of the others are great uses of the sets and wonderful color.

  8. I would be hard pressed to say which of the top three cards I liked the best. They are all unique and striking. What a great idea for a workshop. I also love the humor you put in as well as the beautiful cards. Also, I started my blog about 3 weeks ago. If you would be so kind as to check it out and give me a couple of pointers for improvement I would appreciate it.

  9. I love the Circle Circus card! The colors are perfect. Your friends and coworkers will be thrilled with their gifts from you.

  10. Love these! I think Circle Circus is my fave – I don’t have that set, but maybe Lacy & Lovely would work instead? Love your blog – love you humor!

  11. Brian, I must say that my favorite is the same one Patti chose! Maybe because we made those in our Regionals in RI…..just kidding! But I do love it. I like them all really and what a great idea! Thanks for sharing your great ideas and talents with us, you are truly an awesome demonstartor!!

  12. These are beautiful, Brian.

  13. I hate playing favorites so I won”t say which I like best but what a whopping great idea for a workshop! And the cuts and scores are done for you! Heavenly! These should be sold by the hundred. How cool to just grab a card and start creating! Great post, and beautiful cards to boot!

  14. Circle Circus wins for me- love the colors, love the intricate design in a simple presentation- will CASE for sure!! Thanks, as always, for sharing, Brian.

  15. I made my choice after some mulling it over . I really like them all , I don`t have Circle Circus ,but have two cards that I did at a workshop and I think for all around it`s the winner …this is another one on the list of “just buy it” stamps . I really love all your color choices!

  16. These are all awesome, Brian, but that Circle Circus one just stands alone! The colors are perfect and now I have stamp envy 🙂 Have a great day!

  17. You always have the best ideas….love the colors you used with the sea shells..that will be my fav and I bet the guest will want to copy the samples you have out because they are that good!

  20. I love them all and great great idea! :0)

  21. Brian, I looked these cards over and over this morning trying to decide which one was my favorite. I finally gave up and got on with the day. Now, after dinner, I looked them over, again, and I still can’t come to a decision. They all are my “favorite” for different reasons! I truly love them all! And I’ve missed these blank sets in the catalogs as well.
Thanks for another great blog entry!

  22. HMMM… Instead of giving away tins of cookies this Christmas. I’ve thought Great I’ll Decorate Tins and put notecards. How cool is that !!!

  23. I love the Circle Circus card. Makes me think that I have to get that set back from my daughter-in-law. I loaned it to her months ago and all but forgot about it until I saw your beautiful card. Love the idea of using stamped sets of the notecards for Xmas gifts. TFS!

  24. Hi Brian,
I love all of your note cards and I plan on case’ing them for my demo on Sunday. Everyone needs to have some of these for the “oh no it’s Mary’s birthday and I forgot to make a card” situations. Thanks so much for sharing.
