As we approach the end of 2012, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the past 12 months and prepare for the next 12. What have been your favorite memories of 2012? What memories are you happy to put behind you as we turn over a new leaf in 2013?
If you have already peeked at the card I’m sharing today, I know you’ve already asked yourself, “Has he lost his mind?!?” That’s right! I’m featuring a card with no ink, no stamps and THREE LAYERS of glimmer paper. Who would have ever dreamed this? The mood hit me, so I had to follow through on it. It will never happen again. The card also features some old products (champagne glimmer paper is unavailable after January 2) and some new items(Oval Collections Framelits are available on January 3). Clever, huh?
While we are on the topic of out with the old, I want to remind you of several Stampin’ Up! specials that are soon to run out. I don’t want you to miss out on all the great deals. Here’s a quick summary:
- The 2012 Holiday Catalog. Have you been eyeing some items in the Holiday Catalog? Can’t live without the Scentsational Season bundle? Is the Champaign Glimmer Paper or the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack a “must have” but also a “don’t have”? Get it now! There are some carryover items, but MANY are not going to be available after January 2. Click on “shop now” to purchase these items now. Seriously, don’t wait.
- Single Stamps. What a great promotion! The single stamps have been around for a while, but all things must come to an end. If you’ve been waiting, don’t wait any longer. After January 2, they are gone too. Here are the fliers for these single stamps. You don’t want to miss out on these deals:
- Clearance Rack. While you are on my demo site shopping for all these deals, don’t forget about the huge savings on the Clearance Rack. This is the first time Stampin’ Up! has included retired stamp sets on the clearance rack, so check it out before it’s gone. Be on the lookout! I’ve got lots of wonderful offers for you when the Spring Catalog is revealed on January 3. I’ll be hosting product shares and bundles. I’ll also be creating a DSP sampler that you won’t want to miss. Also in January, I’m introducing some .pdf tutorials and joint projects with other great designers. 2013 is going to be amazing, and I’m happy you’ll be sharing in the excitement with me.
I LOVE your color combo AND that glimmer paper!!! I don’t own the typeset alphabet – but you have mead it VERY tempting. Seems to be a purchase that would be very versatile. Happy New Year!
Where is Brian and what did you do with him?!?
This is a pretty snazzy card for a CAS guy…. I personally like the Champaign Glimmer paper …and the way I found out that I liked it was from getting a 6×6 piece in a DSP sample offering. I have reordered it from the catalog because it can be used for so many different cards in small doses. If you are a non demo this is the way to see the real product to see what it really looks like and I am so glad you are gonna offer the shares Brian…. When is this offer going to start? I know the catty is in business Jan. 3rd…will you begin the offer @ the same time? Will you do 4 slots or 6 to fill the orders ?
Oh Brian, I’m very impressed!! because you and GLITTER are not the best of friends, but this card is really great. Did you wear gloves, protective eye ware and a mask? Gosh!! Pam made me think…..is this really you, my dear?
I was thinking the same thing, too! That lint roller must have gotten a work-out today!
Woohoo, love the glitz of this one. Way to welcome 2013 in with style!
Love your card today!!!! I love the Champagne glimmer paper and must order more before the Holiday mini runs out!
What a hard challenge that must of been for you. I must try and challenge myself like that also. Stellar card for the new year.
Goodmorning Brian, Just wanted to know if you ship orders to Australia – I am interested in purchasing four or five single stamps – they are not available to us in Australia. I have a Stampin up Demonstrator and attend her classes regularly – it is very easy to become ‘addicted’ don’t you agree! I follow your blog daily and enjoy your work. thanks again Suzanne Gaut

Suzanne, Thank you so much for your kind comments. Unfortunately, I cannot sell or ship overseas. I do hope you’ll have luck finding those stamps in Australia <— I said that in an Aussie accent (terrible, I know) just for you. Thanks!
No, you have not lost you mind, at least I don’t think you have….!!!!! But this is a wonderfully brilliant card…. BTW, I tried using a line roller on my friend’s Snowflake die….er, um, ah, it left some of the sticky stuff on the die…luckily away from the cutting edge, well a bit away and I can’t remove it…guess it was a super sticky roller…! Anyway, lovely card and I’m proud of you! There are some things that I’m glad to see go away with the nearly old year and look forward to some great things in the new year…travel, fun, lots more stampin and stuff….! Thank you for sharing this glittery card!
Tee Hee….a line roller…really it was a Lint roller….hmmmmmmmmm….wondering about myself a bit more than usual!
Carol, was it the Eggnog?
Happy New Year, to all of Brian’s Fan club. I enjoy the cards, Brian’s teasing and instructions, and everyone’s comments. Love to all! Ruth Ann
