It’s always a good idea to look back in time to see how well your “truths” have held up. In January, I was completely overwhelmed by the support and positivity I had been receiving from my “silly, little blog.” Stampin’ Up!’s Leadership Conference was an amazing experience, and I wanted to clarify the goals for my blog – to share my thoughts with you since you, my blog readers and friends, are such an integral part of this amazing Stampin’ Up! journey I am on. As Stampin’ Up! launches the “Join for $25” Promotion (it runs through October 21), I hope you will decide to join me on this journey.
I searched through my old blog posts to find my declaration, curious to see if I am living true to my original goals. Yipee! I am! I want to re-share my thoughts with you (all of these – except the last one – are lifted directly from my original post):
- I want you … to feel inspired each and every day – to think about stamping all day long. I want to poke your brain in the morning with some sort of idea or concept so that you have an excuse to think about cards and crafting for the entirety of your day.
- I want you … to enjoy the time you spend with your stamps. I am fortunate enough to spend lots of time completing projects with my stamps, papers and punches. Possibly too much time. You might not have as much time, so I am happy to share what I learn or what inspires me. It helps you to streamline your projects, right?
- I want you … to create things you love and can’t live without. It makes you happy. When you are happy, then I am happy. When I am happy, I remember to feed the cat. I guess what I am trying to say is – Bandit wants you to be happy because he likes to eat.

- I want you … to enjoy your stamping space. Organizing is a hobby in itself. Over the next several weeks I’ll share several ideas I have implemented to keep my space as tidy as it can be.
- I want you … to get the most out of your stamping purchases. I don’t ever want you to buy a stamp set (for example) that just sits on your shelf. There are thousands of ways you can use that stamp, and I want to inspire you to use it. I also want you to maximize the benefits you can receive from your purchases. I want you to be aware of the promotions and benefits so that you feel good about the items you’ve purchased.
- I want you … to join my group. This “Join for $25” Promotion is perfect for you if you fall into one (or more) of these categories:

This is a great way for a new stamper to get their supplies at discount prices and not have to sell anything . But a lot of the demos started out that way and ended up selling to friends and co workers . What a great intro price !! And this must be serious stuff if you dragged Bandit away from his nap . Great picture of your furry room mate ! And last but, not least you do agreat job of beginning the day for me by making me think that maybe I can do what you just showed on your blog ! Does Bandit give out autogragphs ? Just wondering ??
Thanks, Sonny! If y’all don’t know Sonny, I’d like to introduce you to the marketing and public relations department for stampwithbrian.com. She’s incredible!
Congratulations, Brian. You are absolutely achieving your goals! Your out-of-the-box thinking with stamps and products does bring excitement and creativity to craft rooms coast to coast. Your wit and humor translate well both in print (and on video, too) giving many of us our first morning laugh!
Thanks for taking the time to write your blog. Stay happy and kiss the furry little prince of the house for me!
I looked at the photo, I fell in love, I WANT Bandit!
Bandit is bundled in his crate and ready for pickup, Grace. Thank you! <3
That’s horrible Brian! Admit it; you love that furry creature!
Brian,
If I didn’t have an upline that I love, a group that I have been part of off and on since 1997( yes, that long ago my demo ID was 10,xxx, your I WANT YOU campaign would have me sign up under you, in a heart beat, even from Washington state! I eagerly look for your posts ( and Mary’s, too!) to start my day off. Thanks, for ALL you do and are to the virtual stamping world.

I feel the same way! I’m a Demo from Canada and LOVE the ladies who welcomed me into their group. I also can’t wait to read Brian’s posts every day. So inspiring, such beautiful projects, such whit! Whenever I move back to the States, I’m TOTALLY signing up under Brian, no matter where I end up!
Brian, you always inspire me. Be it your colors, layouts, choice of stamp sets or whatever. I know I can always find some sort of inspiration from stampwithbrian.com. I have two young kids, though (2 & 4), so my challenge is finding time to be creative…
Brian you have a way with words like no other!! I love coming by and reading your blog! You are just so funny and make me laugh and inspire me at the same time! I am so glad we are in the same Stampin’ Family! lol Bandit is a cutie, does he like to make cards with you? My Cats are always jumping up wanting to join the fun. lol Good Luck on all your goals!!! I know you can do it!

Shirley Pumpkin
Thank you, Shirley. Bandit is not allowed in The Fungeon – it’s completely disconnected from the rest of the house. He would eat everything and then throw it all up. He’s a jerk like that. 🙂
Brain, I love reading your blog and knowing that no matter what the day holds in store You will make me laugh and inspire me to want to stamp. (It really is great therapy!!!) I have a cat that looks just like your Bandit (His name is Storm) and he is not allowed in my craft room either (his name says it all) even though he want to and sometimes stares through the glass doors making me feel quilty. Thank you for taking the time to blog everyday…you have a gift and as you can see We appreciate you sharing with us!
Brian, I look forward to coming to your blog everyday to be inspired by both your creativity and your wonderfully entertaining way of expressing your self. You make me happy every single day. You certainly seem to have remained true to your goals and I hope you recognize the gift you give to those of us who love to stamp. Beyond that and maybe even more importantly, what comes through in your blog is the fact that you are genuinely a good and caring person. Thank you for sharing your world withus.
Could you link to your post about organizing your space? I’d love to see your ideas. I have a craft closet, which means teeny tiny space and I want to be able to utilize it the best way I can.
And Friday I’m totally joining! Squee! Do you have a good recommendation for $25 worth of project?
Hugs! Can’t wait to be in your team!
Hey Taylor, you will NOT regret this decision to be a demonstrator and to join under Brian. I have been a demonstrator for 10 years, didn’t have an upline for the last 5 years, so in August I dropped and signed up again under Brian. He is a wonderful upline and I look forward to having you on our team 🙂 We can be InKING Royalty Princesses together 🙂 As for the product, pick something that you think you can use right away 🙂 All my best, Kelly
Type “organizing” in the search at the top of my blog, and several posts will come up. I did a “series” on them – every Monday for a couple of weeks. Since then, though, I have different ideas about how to organize my stuff. 🙂 Always changing…
I loved your “I want you to” theme for your blog today! Of course, your blog is so well done each and every day. You really do have a talent for it!
