After visiting my brother and his family in December, I stopped by Dawn Tidd’s home near Greenville, SC (she lives less than 3 miles from my brother’s house). Dawn is a Stampin’ Up! Manager and fellow-Pal, and I’m happy we’ve become good friends. I was thrilled to take a quick tour of Dawn’s crafting space during my visit and almost fell over when she shut the door to show me how all her organized ribbon on the back of her craft room door.
The back of Dawn’s door is covered with clear, acrylic cradles – and each cradle is covered with well-organized, easily accessible ribbon. No dowels. When Dawn shared where she purchased the ribbon organizers, I wrote down the information and immediately ordered some for myself when I returned home. Woo hoo!
My six ribbon organizers promptly arrived the next week. Things I didn’t know when I ordered them – (1) the owner of the company is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in Florida, (2) she is a reader of my blog [she wrote a fun note on my receipt] and (3) I would like these organizers so well. These organizers can rest on a desktop, mount on a wall or (as I found out) hang on a peg board. Here’s mine:

Brian, I love your blog. You’re designs are so inspirational! Thanks for sharing. As far as favorite ribbon, that’s a hard one. They are all favorites in their own way. The easiest to use is the seam binding but lately I have been using the stitched satin.

Love, love, love the ribbon roll! It would fit very well in my newly redone craft room!
My all time favorite is still the seam binding. I love how easy it is to tie into a bow and it sticks well to my cards with a minimal amount of snail. However I love the bright colors of the chevron. .great for guy cards. Thanks for the chance to win!
What a cool ribbon organizer!! My favorite ribbon is Stampin’ Up’s Taffeta ribbon…any color! I just love the stuff!!
Wow do I like the lime and early espresso card. You come up with the most wonderful ideas. Keep them coming. Thanks for a chance to enter the candy blog. I sure could use one.
Love this idea! I have some Stampin’ Up! chevron ribbon headed my way that I can’t wait to play with. Fun!
Excellent cards! Love the ribbon organizer. It would certainly put some order with my ribbon hoarding obsession 😉
I love stamp-in up satin ribbon so classy!!! thanks for all of your ideas they are Wonderful!!! Thanks for I chance to win ………….
it’s gotta be the WhisperWhite Organza. and WhisperWhite taffeta.
A bit of white ribbon goes with everything!
This ribbon organizer is Awesome. Right now I have mine in a container and it’s so frustrating.
My favorite SU ribbon has to be the seam binding. I love the the flexibility, the colors, the slight shimmer. I just wish it came in more colors!
Brian I can’t decide which ribbon is my fave!! I think I line the gingham but the solid grosgrain is another favorite as always there is so many colors and choices to choose from. I love the organizer for the ribbons what a cool idea thanks for sharing and thanks for the chance to win I love your blog I love your ideas. keep up the great work Brian
These are great and so reasonable. I have tried so many different holders but without dowels you can easily reorganize every time you add to your ribbon stash. I like to sort by color but every time I buy a new roll in an existing color I have to dump them all off of the dowel so that I can add the new one in. So as you can imagine I have several rolls just sitting around waiting to be added in! -:)

Oops Brian I just left you a comment and there was an error in my email. This is the correct one!
Im enamored with this clean sleek card. I agree that the white steals the show.,
My all time favorite ribbon is seam binding. For many months I snubbed my nose at it, unsure of what to do with it. Finally, I received some in a prize package and decided to bite the bullet and give it a try! W O W ! ! I am a true convert! I just LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE it!! I can dye it to match my project, it makes magical bows, I can make it ombre if I want to or I can use it to clean up my messy mat after using my sprays and I get a one of a kind piece of bow making material!! The possibilities are endless! The only problem with it is that it has taken over my ribbon area. This Ribbon Roll Control would help me to corral it all into one place and I would be able to find the roll that I need at a moment’s notice. Thank you for the chance to wrangle them up and corral them!! I also am in love with the blue ribbon you are adding to this fun giveaway! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty! I have a project that it would look great on! Thanks for the chance to win a very useful organizer!!!!
Thanks for the opportunity to win the Ribbon organizer. My favorite ribbon is the 1/8″ taffeta ribbon. Love the white edge and it ties into tiny bows so easily!
I love these!! Thanks for sharing the info Brian. I check your blog daily. Your bubbly personality just pours out of your posts. You always start my day off with a smile!
Oh, do I have to choose just one? I think my go to ribbon is grosgrain in any color. So fun to make those teeny tiny bows when nothing else seems to be right. The narrower the better.
This product is “answered prayer.” Ribbon storage has always been a problem for me. Thank you, Brian, for all your blog posts and sharing your beautiful cards.
We can enter again? Way cool, Brian! Thanks for the second chance at this blog candy, and such wonderful blog candy it is. BTW, I loved your espresso/lime/white card today.
Your card is so dramatic in a wonderful way! I am going to pair these two colors for sure!! The ribbon holder is a fan-tabulous idea! Love how you did yours on a peg board also. I am a lover of ALL ribbon. The card just seems to scream out which type of ribbon you should use for that WOW effect.
Love your blog, been checkin’ it out since I met you at convention 2013. My favorite ribbon is the seam binding. Thank s for a chance to win this awesome ribbon organizer.
Thanks for the chance to win. I have been looking for a way to store my ribbon and this looks perfect. Loved your espresso and lime card today. I really have a lot of favorite ribbons. I like the seam binding and the chevron ribbons right now.
Thanks for sharing your card ideas!
I love the chevron ribbons. So cool! =)
I just love the chevron ribbon! All colors…
Thanks so much for the blog candy. The ribbon organizers are just what I need so I’ll keep my fingers crossed and in the meantime I’ll make sure the info is saved on pinterest.
I really like your blog and would love a chance to win and have the ribbon organizer. My favorite ribbon is the Crochet Trim – if that counts as ribbon. If not, it would be the 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon. I really like today’s card too. Congratulations on all of your successes.
My all-time favorite SU ribbon? The very wide black and white striped ribbon–so French! Mais oui!
Luv your work and inspiration from a male’s point of view. Thanks for chance to win a great way to store our ribbons. I luv all stampin up ribbon.
My favorite ribbon…the marina mist and melon mambo you are featuring in your giveaway! I was hoping it would make a comeback in the main catalog in other colors, but alas, it did not 🙁 I truly love the organizers and will have to see about getting some 🙂
Love SU ribbons, especially the narrow ones. They create less bulk when sending cards. Love the chevron ribbons too. I use those when I’m looking to just accent an edge. Thanks Brian, for a chance to win the ribbon holder and some ribbon.
I do not have any of the chevron ribbon but I do like it a lot. I have not been buying much ribbon because I do not know what to do with it!!! I hope I win!!
I have lots of ribbon and this would be a great solution for storage. Thanks for the
opportunity to enter to win this system. You have wonderful ideas and are very creative. I really enjoy your emails and blog. =)
baker’s twine (hope that qualifies) also love the skinny taffeta and grosgrain….I could go on but those are my top 3….not counting the special ones in the mini catalogs 🙂 Thanks for being such a creative resource.
Taffeta ribbon is my favorite, but because of the affordability and look of seam binding I guess it is the one I use the most. I love the different ribbons Stampin’ Up
carries. This looks like a GREAT storage system. Thanks!
Right now, I am loving the 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon. All colors!
Grosgrain! Any size, any type!
I love the skinny taffeta and the white organza. So beautiful! And thanks for the chance to win the awesome ribbon storage! I see a purchase in my near future!
I like ribbons that are soft vs. being too stiff and any thing with polka dots or stripes!
Thanks for this chance to win!
I love all SU ribbon and only SU ribbon. I got rid of the no SU and just have issues with storage.
I loved the Satin Ribbon! Wish they would bring that back in EVERY color!!!
I love Seam Binding ribbon. It adds a touch of elegance to any project.
Pick me pick me…love all the ribbon…to many favorites to mention
Love this idea! I like the new chevron ribbon, what am I thinking , I love it all
I think my favorite ribbon is the seam binding for it’s forgiving ways…….the bows always look nice, it is soft and “goes the way I want it to go”! These ribbon organizers look fantastic. I’m going to look at my crafting space and see if they will work for me.
My favorite ribbon is the seam binding. I love the texture of it and how nicely it ties without a lot of bulk. My other favorite would be the white organza…I wish they would make it in different colors. And speaking of ribbon…..how could they bring back Crushed Curry and only have ONE ribbon? I hope they will have more of that color in the new catalog! Love the ribbon control units too. I only have one and I need more, so thanks for sharing it Brian. Have a great day!
Love the organza ribbon and it’s versatility!
I love your blog and my favorite ribbon is all the polka dot ribbon!
