New Video: The Many Uses for Adhesive Remover

I filmed this video two weekends ago.  I was planning to share it with you last week, but a silly video in “my” stamping space took its spot.  🙂

I’m a huge advocate of The Adhesive Remover (found in the bottom, left corner of page 175 in the Annual Catalog).  This stuff is PERFECT for cleaning up the mess left by SNAIL Adhesive or Multipurpose Liquid Glue – whether the mess is on a card or on your table.  My Adhesive Remover is always found on the table to the right of my Grid Paper when I’m stamping.  It’s always in reach and (like Stampin’ Dimensionals) is used on almost every card.

Quick summary of the video:

  • Use the Adhesive Remover to swipe away SNAIL Adhesive and dried Multipurpose Liquid Glue – swipe in one direction.
  • Gently swipe the Adhesive Remover over a stamp image to condition the stamp to better retain ink.
  • Trim the edges of the Adhesive Remover when they get dirty to create a clean edge.
  • Keep your Adhesive Remover to the right of your Grid Paper so it’s always in reach.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Thanks to you I use this useful gadget . I bought it and wasn`t really using it right until you told me to be sure and rub in just ONE direction . Now I use it ….yes, it is used often because I don`t do glue well ! And this works and it stays within easy reach . Thank you for the video “Easter Bunny”…..Happy Easter !

  2. Thank you Brian for these awesome tips!

  3. Hi Brian! The adhesive remover also works very well to remove adhesive residue from your paper snips (mine often get gummed up after cutting a lot of sticky strip or dimensional adhesive). I didn’t realize you had to trim bits away after it got dirty though. That’s good to know! Thanks!

  4. I love my adhesive remover primarily because I end up making a mess when using glue.Another great video. You deserve an Emmy.

  5. Several years ago, my Upline gave an adhesive remover to me as a gift. At first I thought “what in the world am I going to use this thing for!” Threw it in a drawer in my craft room, but didn’t forget about it. Not long after, I’d made a card with layers and got Snail adhesive over the edges– it looked tacky (pun intended). I picked up the Adhesive remover tool and rubbed it over the excess Snail, it came right up! I use it often and like you Brian, it’s never far from reach. Enjoyed your video and learned new uses for it, as well as the great tip for cutting it off when the edge gets too gunky. Thanks Brian! I am a huge fan of your’s, always learn much and love your cards!

  6. Cute little informational video! I love my adhesive remover, too, and never thought to try it on dried glue splops, thanks! Ahhhh, the things we learn from you!
