NEW VIDEO: Smashing Technique with Timeless Textures

I had so much fun making and sharing yesterday’s card that I decided to make a video for you.  Using Timeless Textures and the three colors from this week’s Fab Friday challenge (Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Blushing Bride), I made this card for you:

Timeless Textures, Something to Say, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, FabFri82, Smashing Technique

If you missed yesterday’s post, you can read all about it here.

If that’s still not enough to tickle your fancy, then check out this video:

Here are the products I used to make this card, along with a picture tutorial of the process:

Stamp Sets:  Timeless Textures, Something to Say, Serene Silhouettes  Papers:  Pool Party, Basic Black, Whisper White  Inks:  Pool Party, Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, Archival Basic Black  Accessories: 1-3/8″ Circle punch, 1-1/4″ Circle punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Timeless Textures, Something to Say, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, FabFri82, Smashing Technique

There’s more.  Long before I knew that the “smashing technique” had a name, I was smashing with the best of them.  Here’s a card I made using that technique 2-1/2 years ago.  Click on the picture if you are interested in seeing my unique inspiration for this card or to read about this project:

Harvest of Thanks, Stippled Blossoms, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, PPA175

What stamps can you use to “smash?”  I bet you can come up with lots of great backgrounds with this wonderful technique.

Thanks for stopping by today!
