Home Life Bundle for PP348

We send cards for all sorts of occasions – we like to honor birthdays, babies, Christmas and weddings.  We also send cards to show sympathy, to celebrate wonderful achievements or to say “thanks” to our friends.  With all of these occasions, it’s understandable that we are sometimes left without a good “new home” stamp set.  This year, we’ve got it – and this one is REALLY good.  I used the colors from this week’s Paper Players challenge (Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist) for this sweet home card:

Home Life Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, PP348So, my card isn’t exactly a “congrats on your new home” card.  There are so many ways to use this fun house – welcome to the neighborhood, congrats on the new addition to your family, or thanks for your hospitality.  I used a sentiment from the In the City Host set to make this a perfect way to thank you for opening your home to us.  Here’s the banner for LeAnne Pugliese’s sweet color challenge that inspired my card:

  • Home Life Bundle.  This stamp set and coordinating are just amazing!  Three photopolymer stamps, filled with flowers and leaves, build the framework of this house.  Not only can you stamp all three and cut them out with the house-shaped Framelit, but there’s also a die that allows you to just cut out the flowers.  It’s easy to switch up the colors of the flowers, but I kept mine yellow to coordinate with the Paper Players’ color challenge.  In addition to building the house, there’s a sweet pot, hanging pot and fun flowers, too.  Here’s a look at this must-have bundle:

  • Multiple Dies and Video.  After I stamped the three images to create the shape of the home, I stamped another set of Daffodil Delight flowers on Thick Whisper White.  I used the die to crop out the flowers from the design.  It was so easy to line up the flowers on the stamped house – best new product to get me there?  Mini Dimensionals.  These tiny Stampin’ Dimensionals were adorably helpful when it came to adding these little flowers.  Here’s a closeup of the layered flowers on my card:  Home Life Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, PP348Stampin’ Up! created a super-fun and super-helpful video to showcase this bundle.  Have a look-see:

  • Layout.  This sweet house deserves a a sweet backdrop.  I used the colors from this challenge to create a blue sky and the green grass on which the house rests (without being obvious that it’s grass and sky).  The thin band of Pool Party that extends across the grass base showcases a sentiment from the In the City Host set.
