While we were in Thailand last week (you can see my recaps here and here), demonstrators were given an advance look at the 2017 Holiday Catalog, and we were sent home with a boatload of stamps, papers and accessories from the new book. You’re going to love these new products, and I can’t wait to share them with you BUT we can’t show them just yet. That’s A-OK with me because there are lots of great Christmas products in the Annual Catalog to quench your Christmas-card-making thirst – and there’s a new stamp set you can earn today when you join my Stampin’ Up! team. More on that later. 🙂 I used some of these products to make a festive project for the FabFriday sketch challenge. Here’s my card:
And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Carols of Christmas. One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that we get to see the new catalog before it’s released to customers – AND we get to order a month in advance, too! When you join my Stampin’ Up! team, you can select your choice of $125 of product for just $99 with free shipping – that’s always a great deal! In July, you ALSO get a great bundle of stamping essentials (two D blocks, Grid Paper, Paper Snips, SNAIL Adhesive and a Bone Folder) AND The Carols of Christmas stamp set. What a deal! If you’d like to join today, CLICK HERE. If you have questions or need more information, please reach out to me at [email protected]. Here’s a look at this awesome new set:
- Be Merry. The gorgeous, striped paper is from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper. Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Garden Green are a classic Christmas combination – and the designs in this pack of papers are a wonderful mix of classy and fun. Until you hold these papers in your hand, you can’t fully appreciate all the sweet patterns of trees, mittens and snowflakes. Here’s a look at the papers in this pack:
- Color Combination. The Christmas tree on this card is cropped from Garden Green cardstock with the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies that coordinate with the Carols of Christmas stamp set showcased above. You can add these Thinlits to your Starter Kit or order them as a demonstrator in your first order. To offset the beautiful greens and reds from the paper, I added Crumb Cake for a perfect trio. If you like this combination, too, please save this:
Stamp Sets: Carols of Christmas Papers: Be Merry Designer Series Paper, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green Inks: Whisper White Craft Ink Accessories: White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Layering Circles Framelits, Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I hope you’ll pop over to the FabFriday site to see the cards by the design team members and to play along with this week’s challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!

about as perfect as a card gets. love how you kept these bundle products simple!
Brian, I love the boldness of this fabulous Christmas card, elegant and beautiful.
I hope, HOPE, they never retire Cherry Cobbler, I absolutely love this shade of red from all of the SU colors. I think it’s the most perfect color for the Holidays.
BTW, are you having your Holiday card swap this year?? 😉
Thank you for sharing.
XO
Maria.
I adore this card!!! It just says the fablous Brian King made it!!!
My favorite part of this card is the large sentiment. You really allowed it to take center stage by using the circle die. Just gorgeous.
Ditto on the Cherry cobbler, just wouldn’t be Christmas without it ?
Brian – Nice clean card! I really like its simplicity even though there are quite a few layers. I’m a traditional Christmas gal and love these colors! I think I may have to go for this new Christmas deal! LOL!
