Today I’m sharing a sweet-and-simple card that’s made with the Petal Passions Memories & More Card Kit, part of the over-the-top-gorgeous Petal Passion Suite in Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions Catalog. These cards are such a great way to crank out a beautiful card with very little time. Here’s my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Petal Passion Memories & More. I used two Petal Passion Memories & More cards on this project – the Powder Pink card in the background and the black-and-white card on the top layer. The top card is designed with the leaves and a blank, black label – although it appears to be multiple layers, there’s just one. To confuse things a little more and to make it my own, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the panel (its from the Petal Palette stmap set) and colored the thin border on the inside of the label with a Powder Pink Stampin’ Write Marker. How easy is that!? Here’s a look at the amazingly beautiful cards in this Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack:
- Petal Palette Bundle. As I mentioned above, I stamped the sweet sentiment in the middle of the smaller black-and-white card with a sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp set. I’ve said this to you before, and I’ll happily say it again – you need this Bundle. Go ahead and write it on your wish list or mark it in your catalog. The Petal Palette suite is your #1 must-have. This suite can be used to make cards and decorations for almost ANY occasion. Here’s a look a this bundle:
- Sweet Color Combination. Pink, black and white are so beautiful together. Melon Mambo really pops against the black, but Powder Pink softens the black tones. Love it! If you are inspired by this combination of Whisper White, Powder Pink and Basic Black, please save this:

Well I”ll be double dipped! I always count the layers on your cards because it fascinates me so when I looked at this gorgeous creation I, of course, counted the label around the saying as three layers. You tricky little elf! LOL Gorgeous card to say the least. LOL

Love layers and that is one fun thing I love about the Memories and More card packs as they are great to layer! I did bought another pack of the Christmas ones as I really enjoyed playing with all the pieces and making a ton of cards with them. I will be getting this pack as well. A lot of bang for $10 if you ask me. I enjoy using a pale pink with black rather than the brighter Melon Mambo with black for Valentines. I think the seniors at the nursing homes will enjoy some Valentines this year. Thanks for a reminder! Your card is just so special!
