Stamping with the Stars: My Trip to St. Louis

This past weekend, I traveled to St. Louis, Missouri for a gathering of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the area. I know many of these wonderful ladies because many follow my blog and have attended my events. When I was asked to present to the group, I was thrilled! No question.

Today I’m sharing a couple of pictures from the event, which includes some shots of my new friends.

Stamping with the Stars Event in St. Louis

I’m excited to share some fun pictures from my weekend at the Stamping with the Stars event in St. Louis. Susan Fields picked me up from the airport Friday morning and took me to a DELICIOUS breakfast at The Shack restaurant – if you are ever in St. Louis, I recommend this spot. Just look how much fun Susan is having:

Friday night, a small group went to dinner at Charlie Gitto’s Italian restaurant. Wow – what a delicious meal!

This is Sally Nusbaum, the coordinator of this event. Sally rallies demonstrators in the St. Louis area to get together and share often. What an inspiration! How cute is Sally?

All of the presenters at the event gathered by the photo area for a group picture. We didn’t quite fit in front of the photo wall, but we made a concerted effort:

Kim Dent was one of the presenters at the event. She’s a high-performing demonstrator who I’ve met on past incentive trips. What a sweet lady! I couldn’t help but to get a picture with the star:

Sally coerced her friend, Chris, to help with AV needs – he quickly became everyone’s friend and stayed close by each of the presenters to help and to offer comedic relief. He TRIED to act uninterested, but I’m pretty sure I’ve convinced him to join my InKing Royalty team as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

Stamping with the Stars event in St. Louis, Stampin' Up!I was so happy to participate in this event. I shared my thoughts about color and coloring. Still, Sally felt like I needed a big gift for participating. When I say “big,” I mean big. This bag is filled with snacks, supplies and St. Louis memorabilia. My least favorite things in the bag? A set of glitter-filled Big Shot cutting plates (why?!) and glitter tape. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but we all know why these weren’t my favorite gifts. 🙂

My Swaps

Over the weekend, I shared the swaps I made for this event – one set of cards for the Friday night dinner and one set of cards for the Saturday event. In case you missed them, you can click on either of these pictures to see the post about each project:
