Best Route Pizza Boxes – A Fun Gift Idea

I love the versatility of Stampin’ Up! products – we can use our papers, inks and stamps for making cards, making gifts/tags and documenting life. I recently made small gifts for some of my team members who’ve reached milestones as demonstrators. I was just as excited by the packaging of the gifts I shared as I was with the gifts and card that were included inside. Today I want to share these gifts as a fun idea for gift giving:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Best Route. I’m in love with the travel-themed Best Route Suite of products found on page 52 and 53 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog. I used the En Route stamp set for the sentiment on the front of the box and the Best Route Designer Series Paper as a foundation for the simple design. The Best Route Designer Series Paper, featured on these boxes, is one of ten packs of Designer Series Papers in Stampin’ Up!’s “Buy 3, Get 1 FREE” promotion in July. I picked up several packs of this paper – I know I’ll be using lots of it. 🙂 Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of Designer Series Paper: Best Route Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 146897There’s no better time to stock up! • Simple Layering. I was able to pull these boxes together relatively quickly. With just a few simple layers of just the right colors, they look smart and bold – just what I want for these gifts. A simple layer of the Best Route Designer Series Paper gives the top of my box a fun pattern. I layered this sentiment from En Route stamp set (and cropped with the Layering Squares Framelits Dies) on top of a scalloped square of Granny Apple Green (also from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies). Love this ribbon!
  • Cheery Color Combination. While the Best Route Designer Series Paper features some beautiful colors that look great with Blueberry Bushel (Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody and Gray Granite look great with the deep blue), I pulled in a completely different color – Granny Apple Green – to pair with the paper.
