I’m so excited to share another batch of beautiful cards from my 2018 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap. Over the past month, I’ve been running to my mail box to collect the GORGEOUS cards for my swap. In a series of several posts over the next week, I will share each of these beautiful cards with everyone. There’s so much wonderful inspiration to share!
Today’s projects all feature gorgeous deer. How fun! I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).
If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it shows up on my blog – that way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

Another brilliant parade of creativity. Love how you thematically group the cards, Brian. It really highlights the versatility of Stampin Up! products. Bravo to all those whose projrcts are in today’s lineup. Fabulous work!
I received the card made by Sue Johnson, and like some of the other cards, I’m sure, the photo here doesn’t give it justice. I love the plaid background and how it contrasts with the oval frame that’s the backdrop for the deer. TY for the lovely card, Sue.
It must be card making “day of the deer”! Awesome. I want to call out Amanda VanHavermaet’s card as she is a talented crafter on the same team as myself here in chilly Minnesota. Thanks for organizing this swap, Brian. So enjoyable!
It’s so much fun to see how different cards can be when using the same stamp set! A beautiful holiday parade. 🙂
Love all these “deer” cards. Great creativity and inspiration. Thanks to all. Enjoy your day.
Gorgeous, festive cards! I love seeing all the Holiday swap cards that you receive, Brian. It’s as much fun as driving around looking at everyone’s Christmas lights on Christmas Eve!
These projects are “deer” to my heart!
Sorry, off topic…..are you going to do a swap for the Occasions catalog?Thank you.
I will typically host a Spring swap, too. Haven’t though that far ahead. 🙂 <3
These cards are lovely! I would certainly enjoy receiving any one of them!
Each one of these cards is a beauty ! Love the deer and woods theme !
I like your style of display ….smile .
Happy Friday , DEAR !
I am the very lucky recipient of the first card showcased here today by Ann Murray! Ann, I wish you could have seen my face when I opened my Happy Mail! It was a jaw dropping WOW! Such attention to detail and beautiful layers. Brian is a great photographer but it is even more beautiful to see in all it’s glory! (Can you tell I just love it?!) Ann even had lots of envelope love with lining the inside and stamping the flap. I love this showcase of “deer” cards! Great job everyone! Thanks again Brian for hosting!
Oh, I so wanted to make a “deer” comment but I’m too late to the deer show. Another batch of inspiring cards!
Oh deer, what a wonderful parade. Just totally amazes me what creativity we have. So much talent. Love all the different ideas. I agree with Barbara’s comment about better than driving around looking at lights. I think my deer stamps and dies need to see some love. Thanks Brian you photograph and showcase all these so well. Happy holidays everyone.
What a treat to see all these beautiful cards! Thanks so much for sharing your creative ideas with us!
Another day of great ideas and beautiful cards!
Margaret Ann Hammond, your woods and brook scene sent me back to my Gramma’s house in Connecticut. So serene, so beautiful. Your card was the voice of happy Christmases past for me.
Patty Hammond, I also loved your clean, white on white, snowy card. Thanks Brian and participants, I now have to place another order today for the Winter Woods bundle, too!! And I swore I wouldn’t…….LOL
I so, so, so love a parade of cards. It has been such a joy to see how creative everyone has been for this swap and I’m so thankful to you Brian for hosting it. I cannot tell you how wonderful I think every one of these swap cards have been. This deer theme reminds me of how blessed I am to live where I live and see these type of scenes every day. Such a treasure. Congratulations to each card maker for their artistic and gorgeous creations!
Cindie, I was lucky to receive your beautiful card with the deer! It is so fun to do this card exchange!
I received Marsha’s beautiful card. Just like others have commented, it is much nicer in person! Thank you Marsha for the card. Thanks to you also Brian for organizing this swap.
Patty, your stunning deer card arrived in my mailbox! I just love how you layered the trees for depth and added the shining stars. The winter woods set is one of my favorites, and it works beautifully paired with the deer framelit.
Thank you I live by a state park and love to see the deer standing at the stream getting a drink. I am glad you enjoyed the card. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Lots of lovely Dashing Deer here, but let’s face it, who doesn’t love Dashing Deer? It is probably my most favorite Christmas bundle. Great job, everyone!
I was so happy to receive Mary Jo Thalhammer ‘s Card. It is stunnning in hand! The copper glitter paper just really sets off the muted tones on the scene she created. Just lovely. Thank You
Rachael, I’m so glad you liked my card. I had so much fun designing it and was very pleased with how it turned out. I wish I had made a sample to keep.
