Tea Together at Tea Time

Tea and coffee are always popular. The images and sweet sentiments in the Tea Together stamp set, available in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog, are really sweet – but I might have passed over this set were it not for the Tea Time Framelits Dies (one of the options you can choose with a $100 order during Sale-a-Bration). The dies make the set a must-have. Here’s my card I made with Tea Together and the Tea Time Framelits Dies:

Tea Together, Tea Time Framelits Dies, Wonderful Romance, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Tea, Tea, Tea. Tea is so formal – for many, a good cup of tea is as much about the ritual of calmly steeping the water and soaking the tea leaves and sipping the tea as it is about the delicious cup of liquid. The set also features some gorgeous sentiments and beautiful flowers. Here’s a look at Tea Together:Tea Together, Stampin' Up! 148779I stamped this flower over and over with Petal Pink ink on Petal Pink cardstock to create a gorgeous backdrop for my tea pot. I stamped the flowers off once on scrap paper before stamping here to give a softer image in the background:Tea Together, Tea Time Framelits Dies, Wonderful Romance, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingHere’s a look at the Tea Time Framelits – as you can see, there are more dies than just the tea pot in this set of dies – tea cup, flowers, buds and leaves. There are even multiples of the dies for the buds and leaves. Here’s a look at the Tea Time Framelits Dies:Tea Time Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up! 2019 Sale-a-Bration 149697
  • Wonderful Romance Bundle. When I was looking for a way to decorate my tea pot, I immediately knew I’d color the pot with the very light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. At the start of this project, though, I didn’t know how perfectly this sweet sentiment would fit on the belly of the bot. Here’s a look:Tea Together, Tea Time Framelits Dies, Wonderful Romance, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI was weighing my options for the sentiment when I found that this sentiment from Wonderful Romance fits perfectly in the tea pot. • Soft and Sweet Colors. The strip along the base of the card is from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper. Not only does it provide a base to hold the pot, but it pulls in Gray Granite and a new pattern on the card. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, 146284The three colors I’ve used in this card were pulled from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper – Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Gray Granite are amazing together. Such a soft, sweet combination. If you like this combination as much as I do, please save this for future inspiration:Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Gray Granite

  1. I love everything about this fabulous card from the background stamping to the tiny heart on the tea pot!

    • Thanks so much, Dianne! I needed a little heart – and it helped to fill that space. Incidentally, the little heart is from the band of hearts in the Be Mine Stitched Framelits – forgot to mention that.

  2. I recently have had the pleasure of spending some time with a precious little lady at a retirement home nearby. We met on the walking path this summer near my house. We have developed such a sweet friendship! This would be the perfect card for her! I love it! Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Absolutely gorgeous. The sentiment is such a perfect fit!

    • Thanks, Mary! That was such an exciting find! AND the tea items were, in fact, two amazing things I didn’t know I needed until I did. 🙂 Thanks! ♥
