Sweet Succulents with Painted Seasons

I’m head-over-heals in love with the Painted Seasons Bundle – a collection of fauna and flora that are part of Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-Bration release from February 15. The bundle, which includes the Painted Seasons stamp set and the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, is available with a $100 purchase during Sale-a-Bration. The Painted Seasons Dinstinktive stamp set also coordinates with the Four Seasons Framelits Dies, a Sale-a-Bration Coordination offering that’s available for purchase (and helps you get to your Sale-a-Bration milestones). Woo hoo! Here’s my card I made with the Painted Seasons stamp set:

Painted Seasons, Strong & Beautiful, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

I made this card with my local stamp club, and they were just as excited about making it as I was with sharing it with them. ♥

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Painted Seasons. The succulents and coordinating leaves on my card are stamped with the Painted Seasons stamp set (part of the Painted Seasons Bundle):Painted Seasons Bundle, Stampin' Up! 150349While you can now earn the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration (that option was added on March 1), you really, really want this stamp set, so please find a way to earn it before it’s gone. Starting March 1, Stampin’ Up! is also offering the Four Seasons Framelits Dies that coordinate with this set. The dies can be purchased (and help take you one step closer to earning more Sale-a-Bration rewards. Here’s a look at the coordinating dies:Four Seasons Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up! 150074The sentiment on my card is from Strong & Beautiful, a stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog (it’s filled with great sentiments of support and inspiration). • Petal Promenade. How gorgeous is this marble design that is the backdrop for my succulents? It’s one of many gorgeous pages in the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. This pack of 12″ x 12″ papers from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog has been added as a new Sale-a-Bration reward option. How fun! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper:Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 146913While you can certainly still purchase Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (I’m not going to stop you), you can also earn it as a Sale-a-Bration reward through March 31. If you redeem it as a Sale-a-Bration reward, use code 152839. Here’s a flyer that shows all the new Sale-a-Bration items that were added to the “with a $50 purchase” category on March 1:
  • Color Combination. There are so many great ways to color and accent the succulents from this set. I inked the succulent with my ink pad and then added a touch of color to the center with a sponge dauber. Here’s a closer look at the finished product: Painted Seasons, Strong & Beautiful, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI’ll share more tomorrow about how to achieve this look, along with some pointers for getting the most out of this image. If you like this combination of Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide and Gray Granite as much as I do, please save this:Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide, Gray Granite
