As many of you already know, I hosted my Brian’s Fall Stamp-Along yesterday – ahead of Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event here in Atlanta. 136 of my favorite people joined me for an incredible event (it’s always fun for me to share with others in a live venue! I even participated in the swap at the event and am excited to share the card I made. Here’s my card:
- Here’s a Card. I have used the Here’s a Card stamp set several times, and I’ve highlighted how awesome this stamp set is every time – because it’s a great set. Here’s a card if full of incredible sentiments for all occasions. I particularly love this sweet sentiment of sympathy – “may your heart find the peace it needs.” Such a beauty that says everything you want to say when others are hurting. Here’s a look at this incredible stamp set:
It’s a great stamp set, don’t you think?
- Feels Like Frost. Maybe I don’t know what flowers these are, and maybe I don’t know if they are a Winter flower, but I do they they are beautiful and comforting. I cropped this panel to showcase my favorite part of this paper and added a layer of circles to showcase the beautiful sentiment. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this incredible pack of papers:
After I glue the gorgeous panel of paper to the Whisper White cardstock, added a little extra umph by embossing the panel with my Subtle 3D Embossing Folder – it’s my all-time favorite embossing folder because it adds texture without stealing focus from the rest of the card. Here’s a closer look at the embossed panel:
- Infinity Shot. I made 51 of this card for the swap – I designed last Friday night and completed them by Saturday morning. I may have had help with the punches and embossing, but I designed, stamped and assembled everything in a short time before my event. When I make lots of one card, I like to share an infinity shot of all the card, lined up side-by-side. Here’s my infinity shot for this card:
Stamp Sets: Here’s a Card Papers: Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black Accessories: Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, 1-1/2″ Circle punch, 2-1/4″ Circle punch, Layering Circles Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I’ll be sharing photos and project from my event later this week – I hope you’ll come back to see more.

Classic and stunningly beautiful. Love how the vellum and the paper both have a soft focus!
Thanks, Mary! Softness was definitely a focus here. Glad you like it.
Beautiful card! I love how you show us how to take a smaller piece of this DSP and highlight it with layering and a well framed sentiment! Clean card design at its best!

Thanks so much, Sonny! I love this stamp set and this paper. I don’t love to swap, but I am required to swap at my own event, right? 🙂
What a flurry of activity there must’ve been in the fungeon last Friday night…and we love your infinity shots! My favorite things about this card are: 1. The vellum circle, and 2. The embossed dsp panel. So soft and pretty!
Thanks, Georgia! I love using vellum for a halo around a sentiment – so glad you like it, too. The embossing folder gave me everything I wanted on this card. ♥
Love your swap! Highlight of on Stage…meeting Mary Fish
Thanks, Katrina! So glad you were able to meet her – hope you gave her a big hug from me. ♥

Thanks, Linda! I didn’t set out to emboss it but felt it needed a little something extra. So glad you like it. ♥
Amazing! Can’t wait to try…
I hate I had to miss your event before OnStage. I bet it was fabulous! Will you doing any other stamping events in the Atlanta area? I’d love to know and hopefully attend.
I don’t have any events planned right now, Lori. If I do plan something, though, it will be well-advertised on my blog. ♥ Thanks!
Gorgeous card. Love your infinity shot. Always a pleasure to visit your site.
Thank you so much for that sweet comment, Susan! I appreciate you stopping by. ♥
Brian, I am inspired to CASE this. Making gift sets of cards for Christmas gifts and this is so perfect for sympathy and other much needed messages. Perfect combination of Here’s a Card, First Frost and vellum. Love it’s simplicity. Thanks for posting.
What a wonderful addition to your card sets this will make. I’m so glad you like it, Diane, and I’m happy my card has inspired you. Thanks! ♥
