Oh, Hey! Check Out This Paper!

The card I’m sharing today was headed in a different direction at first, but I’m so happy with how it turned out – I found the card that was meant to be made. 🙂 Here’s my card:

Sweetly Swirled, Stampin Up!, Brian KingTips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Annual, Mini, Sale-a-Bration. My card features three products that are (out of pure coincidence) from all three of our current publications – the sentiment is from the Annual Catalog, and the Designer Series Papers are from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog and from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. These fun products worked together beautifully in a way that convinced me they were made for each other. The sentiment is from Sweetly Swirled stamp set (from the Annual Catalog): Sweetly Swirled, Stampin' Up! 149254The background paper is found in Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper. • Smooth Texture. How gorgeous is this piece of paper from the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper?! It looks like a canvas that’s been painted with this vibrant pink. Here’s a closer look:Sweetly Swirled, Stampin Up!, Brian KingIf you thought the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper isn’t for you, maybe you should give this pack of papers another look. If you aren’t loving the Lily Pads, I know you’ll love the gorgeous textures on the opposite sides of that page. You can flip through all the pages by clicking on the picture below: Lily Impressions, Stampin Up!
  • Color Combination. While the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper doesn’t include Pool Party on its list of coordinating colors, the multiple tones of Bermuda Bay used on this panel of paper definitely reads Pool Party to me. Both aqua tones really clash with the bold Lovely Lipstick in a way that makes you say, “Oh, hey!” If you like this combination of Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Lovely Lipstick as much as I do, please save this:Stampin Up! 4. Oh hey there good lookin’….great color combo and layering prints!

  5. Your pictures of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper are awesome. SU is really stepping outside of the box to create these. The new paper design should be a big hit!

  6. Don’t know how you always show us “new” things, that have been right in front of us or in a way that I never noticed, but now think is super cool!

  7. You are always so clever in showing us items we’ve never noticed. It is beautiful paper and your card using that DSP. Very pretty. I love the font of the sentiment. “Hey” is not a word I use often, but my sister uses it all the time. It would be perfect for her. Enjoy your weekend.
