Rain or Shine…You’re Always on my Mind

Fab Friday is rolling out a new color challenge this week – Merry Merlot, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. I pictured flowers and had a project in mind but quickly changed plans to make a sweet thinking of you card that features some of my favorites from the new catalogs and a favorite stand-by from the annual catalog. Here’s my card for this color challenge:

  • Lily Pad Dies. I used the droplet-shaped dies from the Lily Pad Dies to build the backdrop of Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White bands on my card. This die is so versatile and so fun! There are three lily pad-centered products in the Sale-a-Bration catalog: Lovely Lily Pad reversible stamp set, Lily Pad Dies and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. Each of them is wonderful, but together they are amazing. Here’s a look at all three:Lily Pad Dies, Stampin' Up! 152315Lily Pad Dies, Stampin' Up! 152315  Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 152284The Lovely Lily stamp set and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper can each be your Sale-a-Bration selection with a $50 order. The Lily Dies can be your Sale-a-Bration selection with a $100 order. So…buy $200 of product you want, earn $20 of Stampin’ Rewards to spend wherever you want and pick up these three coordinated items. You deserve it!
  • Building the sentiment. With a panel of raindrops in the background of this card, all I needed was a sentiment to bring comfort to the recipient. Even though I didn’t showcase an umbrella, “rain or shine you’re always on my mind” from the Under My Umbrella stamp set gave me exactly what I needed. I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot on Thick Whisper White. Here’s a look at the Under My Umbrella bundle:Under My Umbrella Bundle, Stampin Up! 153786I punched the sentiment out with the Heart Punch Pack, layering the two hearts over each other. • Follow Your Art. When I reach for papers to create a beautiful sky, I almost always reach for this panel of watercolored Coastal Cabana paper from the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper. When I wanted to create a backdrop of water, I reached for the same page. Water or sky, this paper is awesome. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the pack of Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper: Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 2019 Annual Catalog, 149489
