Making a Splash with Lots of Lilies

When I was playing around with the By the Dock Bundle yesterday (you can see that card here), I was captivated by the adorable frog die that’s included in the Dockside Dies. There’s not a coordinating image with this frog, but it was so cute that I needed to make the it the focal point of a card. Here’s my card with the Dockside Dies frog and all three lily-themed Sale-a-Bration products:

Lovely Lily Pad, Make a Splash, Dockside Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Lots of Lilies. There are THREE products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Sale-a-Bration brochure that are brilliantly related with each other in lily pad-themed coordination. Such fun!  I am excited to share all three of those with you today. The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set features reversible stamps with flowers, leaves and lily pads that can be stamped and colored in using both sides of the stamp. Here’s a look at Lovely Lily Pad that can be selected as a free gift with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration:Lovely Lily Pad, Stampin' Up! 152288The lily pad and flower were cropped with the coordinating Lily Pad Dies. The pack is filled with gorgeous, watercolored images in LOTS of beautiful colors. • By the Dock. The frog is layered over a lily pad that is layered over a flower that is layered over a small panel of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. Fun, right? The set can be selected with Stampin’ Rewards (for orders over $150) for just $10. Yay! Here’s a look at this stamp set: Make a Splash, Stampin Up! 151708
  • Color Combination. There are a lot of gorgeous colors in the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. I pulled Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Garden Green and Lovely Lipstick from these papers to showcase on my card. For my lily pad, water and flower, though, I used Old Olive, Bermuda Bay and Lovely Lipstick. If you like this color combination as much as I do, please save this for future reference:Stampin Up!
