Bye Bye, Blueberry Bushel!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators were able to download our own copies of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog this week – and I’m so excited about the 2020-2022 In Colors. Stampin’ Up!’s color families (Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals) are great, but the trendy, here-for-only-two-years In Colors are always a treat.

With no color refresh this year, we are saying goodbye to all five of Stampin’ Up!’s 2018-2020 In Colors: Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.

Stampin' Up!'s 2018-2020 In Colors Sad to see them go but excited for what’s to come! Now that it’s been confirmed that these colors are retiring, the related products (inks, papers, ribbons) are going fast, so don’t miss out on the ones you love! Today I’m sharing the third of five new projects and inspiration that feature these five colors. Today, I’m saying bye bye to Blueberry Bushel.

Blueberry Bushel, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In ColorBlueberry Bushel is a bold, beautiful blue that gave us everything we needed for gorgeous skies and seas. The colors is very bright or very rich, depending on the colors it’s paired with. I’ve created a new Blueberry Bushel project to share with you today:

Flourishing Phrases, Detailed Peacock Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingWhile the accent on this card is a peacock feather from the Detailed Peacock Dies, it’s a slight nod to a quill, making it perfect for “just a note.” Don’t you think? When I made this card last weekend, I didn’t realize that EVERYTHING on it (except for Whisper White cardstock) would be retiring. There are some goodies on here that I’m sad to see go – the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, the Detailed Peacock Dies and the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper (with a lovely shine). Oh! And all that Blueberry Bushel. 🙂

I created the card as a 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ square so it will tuck right into a medium envelope for easy mailing. Here’s a closer look:

I love Blueberry Bushel!! Very disappointed that there was no Blueberry Bushel Blend. I hope SU brings this color back. I also loved the bright, true yellow of Pineapple Punch.
Thanks for your “Color Inspiration” ideas. I Pin them all!

  5. If this card doesn’t encourage everyone who doesn’t already have the components to rush to pick them up, nothing will. Great tribute to some excellent products, and a charming card. Thanks for the inspiration.

  6. I love how you have highlighted these bright and bold colors this week! I am going to miss them! This is beautiful in blue!

  7. Love all the texture of this card and the shine of the foil paper. Very nice! Enjoy your day!
