Overt the weekend, I shared Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2022 In Colors with you – if you missed that post, you’ll want to check it out here. I share the new colors, show how they compare with similar colors and offer a brilliant color combination for each. These new colors are fantastic, and I know you’re going to love them. There’s still time, though, to grab up some products that feature the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors. That’s what today’s post is all about.
Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators were able to download our own copies of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog this week – and I’m so excited about the 2020-2022 In Colors. Stampin’ Up!’s color families (Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals) are great, but the trendy, here-for-only-two-years In Colors are always a treat.
With no color refresh this year, we are saying goodbye to all five of Stampin’ Up!’s 2018-2020 In Colors: Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.
Sad to see them go but excited for what’s to come! Now that it’s been confirmed that these colors are retiring, the related products (inks, papers, ribbons) are going fast, so don’t miss out on the ones you love! Today I’m sharing the last of five new projects and inspiration that feature these five colors. Today, I’m saying “be sweet” as a Southern goodbye to the ever-sweet Pineapple Punch.
Pineapple Punch is the most vibrant of the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors – it’s a burst of sunshine that’s certain to brighten your day. I’m excited to share a new Pineapple Punch project with you today:
How much of a mood-booster is this shot of Pineapple Punch? I filled a jar with white and yellow Jordan almonds (mmmmm) and wrapped the jar with a Pineapple Punch gingham print from the 2018-2019 In Colors 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and tied it with a piece of Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon. To make the jar even more sunshiny, I added three layers of Pineapple Punch cardstock cropped with the Daisy Punch. The sentiment is from Stitched All Around and cropped with the Stitched Layers Dies (both the stamp set and dies are retiring). Here’s a closer look at this cutout:
I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cropped it with the Stitched Layers Dies. I stamped the sentiment on the gingham print from the 2018-2019 In Colors 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and snipped it out before gluing it over the sentiment. I added two Pineapple Punch enamel dots from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots. What fun!
Here are the products I used in this project:

How funny! When I wrote the post last night, I double-checked the name of this very familiar color for that same reason. π Hope you are well, Denise! β₯
