Quarantine with You

We are all a part of the world’s response to COVID-19. While my family and I have stayed locked in our respective homes since March 10 to avoid any possible encounters with this disease, one of my dearest friends in Atlanta was diagnosed early in March and suffered greatly with this disease. She’s tougher than I am, and I’m so grateful she has made a successful recovery – many aren’t so fortunate.

In response to this new world we live in, Stampin’ Up!’ has developed a 15-page PDF download with a mix of clever and oh-so-sweet sentiments and images. Some are funny and some are packed with heart – and 100% of the proceeds are being donated to charity. If you have access to a color printer, then you can spend the next month of quarantine making cards for your friends, families, nurses and anyone who is helping to make this time easier for you.

Here’s a card I made with the Share Sunshine PDF download:

  • Share Sunshine PDF Download. How clever is that sentiment – “wishing i was in quarantine with you”?! It wouldn’t make any sense at any other time in our lives, but it really makes sense today. Here’s a peek at some of the sentiments and images you can enjoy with this $12 15-page download:Share Sunshine PDF, Stampin Up!, Brian KingSince we are physically distanced from each other, now is the perfect time to share sunshine with our friends and family by sending cards! This digital stamp set is packed with both lighthearted and thoughtful sentiments and imagery relevant to the unique COVID-19 and social distancing situation we are currently in. You can use the download in your cardmaking and papercrafting projects. Simply print the imagery on cardstock and cut it out using your Stampin’ Trimmer, punches or dies. As a part of Stampin’ Up!’s Making a Difference program, 100% of the Share Sunshine PDF Download proceeds will go to COVID-19 efforts (you can choose from The World Health Organization’s COVID-Solidarity Response Fund or the United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund). Here are some adorable samples of projects made with this download: Share Sunshine PDF, Stampin UP!, samples Share Sunshine PDF, Stampin Up!, samplesHow wonderful are those?! Many of these sentiments can be used throughout the year.
  • Designer Series Paper. The samples above feature many great stamp sets and Designer Series Papers from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog and January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. I love how they blend so perfectly with the sentiments and images in this PDF Download. The sentiment I chose to print is Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay. I paired the sentiment with Balmy Blue cardstock and a gorgeous panel of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this gorgeous pack of papers: Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 151324
  • Stitched Nested Labels Dies. The PDF Download shares the Stampin’ Up! colors in each of the sentiments and offers a suggestion for how to crop out each of the sentiments – that makes it so handy! I chose to pair my sentiment with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and added a vellum cardstock heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. Here’s a closer look: Share Sunshine, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI love these dies – they are part of the Free as a Bird Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. While both the Free as a Bird stamp set and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies are included in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog, the 10% off bundled pricing goes away on June 2. If you love this bundle as much as I do, I suggest, you grab it up now. Here’s a look:Free as a Bird Bundle, Stampin' Up! 151123

  7. Great take on the sketch. The different angles between the background and the nested die work perfectly, and the vellum heart throws it over the top. The sketch alone was not particularly an inspiring one for me; you definitely have the knack for seeing beyond basics and elevating a design into creative art. TFS
