I love to combine multiple products on a simple card – especially when they all look like they belong together. Along with large panels of cardstock, today’s simple, Autumn-themed thank you card features two products from the Gilded Autumn Suite in Stampin’ Up!’s August – December 2020 Mini Catalog, a punch from the same catalog and a favorite set of dies from the 2020 Annual Catalog. Here’s my simple thank you card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Beautiful Autumn. I adore the Beautiful Autumn Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s August – December 2020 Mini Catalog. The beautiful sentiments that pair with the leaves and acorn are perfect for Thanksgiving (but they aren’t specific to Thanksgiving). I love that versatility! Here’s a look at the Beautiful Autumn Bundle:
This is the fourth time I’ve used this bundle – and each project has its own personality. Here are the other three cards (you can click on each one if you’d like to see the original post for each):
There’s not a lot of similar elements in the four projects I have made with this set, which showcases how versatile these sentiments are.
- Cropping Favorites. Let’s get back to the project I’m sharing with you today. Here’s a closer look at the beautifully scripted “thank you” on the card and the trio of banners that hang from it:
The Tasteful Labels Dies are my favorite set of new dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog. I love the gorgeous variety of shapes and sizes that work perfectly with so many images and sentiments. Many have stitched edges, while others have a stylish beveled edge. Here’s a look at the Tasteful Labels Dies:
The three banners that hang from the sentiment measure 1″, 3/4″ and 1/2″ and are cut from the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. The ends of the banners are cropped with the Banners Pick Punch to give each one a perfect banner tip. I love this punch that can also be used to punch an inverted edge. Here’s a look at the Banners Pick a Punch:
- Warm Color Combination. The colors I used on this card are pulled right from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper I used for the banners. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper:
While I featured Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Cajun Craze as the base for this card, the Mint Macaron banner (the widest of the three) really adds a lovely pop of color to this card. If you like this mix of Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso as much as I do, I hope you will save this for future reference:
Stamp Sets: Beautiful Autumn Papers: Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Thick Very Vanilla Inks: Early Espresso Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Banners Pick a Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I love the DSP and the label die for the sentiment. It’s a great masculine card, but with a change of colors could be for anyone. Enjoy your day!
Tailored and stylish! I love that gilded DSP!
Simple cards are the best when you have little time but the creativity bug
has bitten you. I can see today’s cards in a big variety of colors for a lot of holidays. Thanks for showing us that a beautiful card does not need to be ornate. You’re the best Brian!
