You are Amazing with Flower & Field

I love awesome and amazing things – and there are a lot of new products that are perfectly described with these adjectives. Today’s simple card showcases two new products (one from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog and one from Stampin’ Up!’s January – February 2021 Sale-a-Bration Brochure. So easy! So fun! AND, while both of these new things are amazing, one of them is explicit about it’s amazingness. Here’s my card:

You Are Amazing, Flower and Fileld Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingTips, Tricks and Reminders

  • You Are Amazing. One of the first things you’ll find inside the pages of the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog is a two-page spread of the new project kits. The You Are Amazing stamp set perfectly coordinates with the You Are Amazing Project Kit (but can be purchased separately). Here’s a look at this bold, happy stamp set:You Are Amazing, Stampin Up!, 154534While the stamp set can be purchased without the kit, how could you pass up the bold, bright, happy You Are Amazing Project Kit?! Here’s a quick look at the projects you can make with this kit (click on the picture below to see what’s included in this kit: You Are Amazing Project Kit, Stampin Up!, 155370
  • Flower & Field Freebie. When you buy the You are Amazing stamp set and coordinating You Are Amazing Project Kit, you will have earned a free Sale-a-Bration item (items are free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration). How fun is that?! One of my favorite choices is the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper – it’s GORGEOUS! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this Sale-a-Bration pack of papers:Flower and Field Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155223Each of the panels is 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″, a perfect size to showcase both on a standard card base. I positioned the panels so the focal panel would be centered on the card base. The Bumblebee polka-dotted paper is a perfect accent behind the bold panel of flowers. I repeated the pattern with the sentiment:You Are Amazing, Flower and Fileld Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI stamped the sentiment with my Stamparatus so I could add a couple of layers of black ink to make it bold and beautiful. I also layered the cutout (which is from the Tasteful Labels Dies) with another cutout of the same die. That gives me confidence it won’t bend in the envelope.
  • Spring Beauty. I love all the Basic Black featured in the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. So chic and beautiful. Three of the colors that pull from the paper for a beautiful, Spring mix of colors are Bumblebee, Just Jade and Flirty Flamingo. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference: Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Bumblebee, Just Jade, Flirty Flamingo

  5. Love your card and how you used the Bumblebee DSP behind the beautifully printed layer and also stamped the sentiment on it. Thanks for the color combination for spring cards using this DSP pack. Enjoy your day!

    • Thanks so much, Hilda! I was all ready to go with a white label on the card, but that Bumblebee paper was calling me. So glad you like what I did with it. ♥

  6. YOU are equally awesome and amazing. Your card is PERFECT.

  7. Love this paper and LOVE how you have used it !! Thanks for the tips on making your sentiment POW !! I have been wondering how to use this cute Bumblebee side and just look how you showcased it !
Can`t wait to CASE !! Fun to try this with other patterns !!
    Great card !

  8. Initially I was more drawn to the Paper Blooms DSP than Flower and Field but cards like yours are changing my mind. Love the layering and the stamping of the sentiment on the DSP. Such a cheerful, inspired card. (Insert big smiley face)

  9. I am always inspired by your crisp, clean cards. I didn’t even notice this stamp set…now I think I “need” it!

  10. Love this card Brian! You are the master at creating the right “scale” – not sure if that’s the correct terminology – matching the boldness of font with boldness in dsp. I am a demonstrator in Canada and you have inspired me to create a whack of cards this morning. Thank you, and you may find yourself tagged on a couple of social media images 😉
