We all have our own process for reviewing a new catalog. Here’s my typical process:
- I flip through the catalog multiple times, breaking everything into two categories: the products I don’t want and the products I absolutely love.
- I order all the things I love.
- Almost immediately, I revisit the things I didn’t want and talk myself into reasons I should have several of them.
- I get those things.
Here’s a cute 3″ x 3″ card I made with one of the stamp sets I didn’t think I needed:
I’m here for kissy lips and girly Valentine’s Day sentiments, but they aren’t something I’d send – my lips just aren’t that plump or pink. BUT…I couldn’t really pass up a stamp/punch bundle, so Hearts & Kisses made its way into my shopping cart. Here’s a look at this sassy bundle:
The stamp set features sentiments like “sealed with a kiss,” “Happy Galentine’s Day” and “You go, girl!” The hearts and lips and watercolor splotch are pretty cool. It’s the coordinating Kiss Punch that got me, though! ♥
The kissy lips aren’t the only thing on my simple card, though. The “xoxoxo” below the lips are cropped with one of the dies from the Many Hearts Dies, part of the Lots of Heart Bundle. Here’s a look at that bundle:
See that little “xoxoxo” toward the bottom of the image above? Here’s a closer look at that cutout on my card:
The background paper on my card is pulled from the super-cute Snail Mail Designer Series Paper – I couldn’t love the pages of this pack of papers more and will likely showcase every page at some point. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper:
While Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay are featured in the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, I added the bold, bright Magenta Madness to the mix. If you like this mix of Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Bundles: Hearts & Kisses Stamp Sets: Hearts & Kisses Papers: Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, Magenta Madness, Daffodil Delight, Thick Basic White, Basic White 3″ x 3″ Envelopes Inks: Magenta Madness Accessories: Kiss Punch, Many Hearts Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
What do you think? Don’t these bright colors make these lips a standout?
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian

Funny boy, that is such a cute little card! Great color combo!
Darn it, Brian! Both of those sets are on my “Don’t need it” list…and now you have made me think that maybe I do! :} Sure trust they end up in the Annual or I won’t have time to use them much. LoL
So cute! I especially love the colors. Enough to brighten up any day.
Love the color combo and the kissy lips bring a smile to the card. It’s a great Galentine card. Enjoy your day!
I totally agree; a stamp and punch bundle is irresistible!! <3
