Brian’s Blog Candy Giveaway – Vine Design

I love to share Stampin’ Up!’s products with my blog readers, team members and customers. Today, I’m happy to share a super-fun Blog Candy Giveaway today with one lucky blog reader.

Blog Candy Giveaway

When I make a big mistake, my customers, team members or blog readers are often the beneficiaries of my big boo boo. When Vine Design was released in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog, I was immediately in love. I was SO in love with this bundle that I … wait for it … ordered it twice. Because of my big oops, one of my incredible blog readers is going to win this bundle (and a couple more goodies).

Here’s what’s included in this blog candy giveaway:

  • Vine Design stamp set
  • Flowering Vine Dies
  • An assortment of cards I’ve made
  • A couple of other surprises I’ll throw in at the last minute

Here’s a look at the Vine Design Bundle (which, incidentally, is still available for purchase):

Vine Design Bundle, Stampin Up! 156266

The stamp set is pretty wonderful, but it’s the Flowering Vine Dies that make this bundle a must-have. Here’s a look at the projects I’ve shared with these dies (you can click on the photos to see the original post for each project):

Best Year, Flowering Vine Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King Heal Your Heart, Flowering Vine Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King Oval Occasions, Stampin Up, Double Oval Punch, Flowering Vine Dies, Brian King, Easter cardI will choose one winner from the comments left on today’s post to win this bundle. How to Qualify for this Blog Candy Giveaway

To qualify for this Blog Candy Giveaway, please leave me a comment on this post and answer this question:

Spring – by the ocean or in the mountains?

I can go ahead and share my response to this question – I love the cool, crisp Spring air in the mountains by morning and the ocean at night! I know that’s not fair that I chose both when I’m asking you to pick one, but I make the rules here. 🙂

I can only send product to residents of the United States, and I can only pick one winner. I can’t wait to see your responses! I’ll randomly choose a winner Friday evening and post the winner here.

While I Have Your Attention…

While you are still here, I would like to draw your attention to some big things happening this week:

In Color Bundles

With the launch of each Annual Catalog, I’m most excited about the newly released In Colors. I love the “getting to know you” part of our love affair, and I love sharing that journey with you. Since I know you will love the new In Colors as much as I do, I offer In Color Bundles with options for papers, inks, markers (and more) to complete your In Color collection.

I’ll be posting my In Color Bundles tomorrow – I hope you’ll come back to join in the fun! ♥

Product Shares & Swatch Books

I rolled out my Product Shares and Designer Series Paper Swatch Books from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog earlier this week. I love hosting shares to give participants a chance to purchase a little bit of everything from a new catalog – the papers, ribbons and embellishments. I also make swatch books, which are a great reference tool when you are creating, organizing and sharing with Designer Series Papers.

  1. Mountains! I think the amazing variety of green colors from early spring to full summer easily rival the more gaudy fall display. Always a mountain girl!

  2. Your question evoked memories of childhood visits to my grandparents’ beach bungalow . It was close enough to the water that every day we woke up and fell asleep to the rhythmic sound of the tide lapping in. (“Music to my ears” all these years later!) So my answer is definitely the Ocean.

  3. I live in Michigan at the base of the thumb on the mitten….so no mountains or oceans near me. I love Spring in Michigan, but if I could choose another place to spend Spring, I would choose the ocean in Virginia or North Carolina. Sitting on the beach listening to the waves roll in would be so relaxing.

  4. I love the mountains. The beauty of all the beautiful greens in the spring. And the fresh clean air! Love it!

  5. I am a water sign (Cancer) so no surprise that I love being close to the water….so it’s ocean for me.

  6. I haven’t been to the ocean in a while, so I would choose spring by the ocean. Watching the waves roll in and out is hypnotic and the sound of the ocean so soothing.

  7. We love the beaches of the Outer Banks in North Carolina! I start every morning with a walk on the beach for 90 minutes+. The afternoons are often spent with a good book and a good beverage. However, with COVID, we will be doing the Mountains of the Grand Tetons this year…..

  8. I live in IL and it is 28 today. Here’s how I deal with mountains and ocean. We are going to Kiawah for vacation so ocean is my happy place. It has been 2 years due to missing out with covid. However guess where we stop on the way Asheville for some beautiful mountains. Haven’t worked with this bundle but you certainly have created some winners.

  9. Brian, that is a tough question since I have lived at the beach and easy access to the Rocky Mountains. If I had to chose, it would be the beach. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  10. Spring-in the mountains. It is so beautiful and seeing the new growth is invigorating. Thank you for the chance to win this fantastic bundle!

  11. Oh, I love the mountains! The Smokey’s, the Rockies, and even the Texas Hill Country with it’s gentler hills! It makes me feel peaceful and to just breathe it in is so relaxing.

  12. The ocean! It’s beautiful scents and sounds do something magical for my soul that I cannot explain! Thankfully, I live between mountains and ocean, so I am blessed enough to experience both!

  13. Spring in the mountains! To witness the budding of trees and plants, the songs of happy birds and the earth coming to life is a beauty to behold! ❤️

  14. So hard to choose one, I love them both. I find them both very relaxing! By the way, I love your blog and daily dose of inspiration. Keep it coming!

  15. Sharon B Maranich

I love the ocean!! Any time…but give me mountain in the fall.
Love this bundle & the cards you have made.

  16. I grew up in the PNW and even though I now live near the beach I will always be drawn to the mountains especially in the Springtime. New life “springs” everywhere. The mountains awaken in Spring from their winter slumber and it is breathtaking.

  17. I love the mountains! Thanks for the opportunity to win the blog candy! Beautiful cards and products.

  18. I enjoy your blog so much and have used many ideas from yours. I always feel inspired, so thank you! For spring, I like the ocean for a very selfish reason … I do not like crowded beaches and in the spring the weather is nice enough to walk on the beach comfortably but too early for the crowds.

  19. Spring in the mountains, for sure! Everything is so crisp and clear! Here in Colorado we can be hiking in beautiful weather one day, and shoveling snow the next. We love the variety, and snow on early blooming flowers is just gorgeous. And as my husband always says”there is no bad weather…just bad clothing”. Be ready for anything!

  20. I am an ocean girl. The sounds, smells, and beauty are so tranquil and therapeutic to me. Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to win such a fabulous bundle (fingers crossed).

  21. Wow, this is a tough choice! Since I love the mountains in the fall I would go with the ocean in the spring. Less crowded and some interesting beach combing finds from the winter’s high tides.

  22. Definitely the mountains!! Nothing is better than that crisp cool air with the fresh scent of pine and the warm sun peeking through the trees.

  23. Spring by the ocean this year. Traveled to the gulf in March and enjoyed the sunny day and cool nights. I love the mountains and have lived there, so my heart will always be in the mountains!

  24. I would have to say Team Mountain. Where I live in Colorado we can enjoy a warm sunny day and look up at snow covered peaks. The peak holds onto snow at the summit well into June and is pretty spectacular!

  25. Any day by the ocean is a good day for me! I love your ideas with this set and would love to win. Thank you.

  26. I love the mountains!!! So obvious choice. 🙂
When I am in the mountains, my spirit is lifted and I feel like I can breathe ❤️

  27. I love the cards you have made with this stamp set and would love to win it. I think Spring has to be in the mountains. I love the spectacular colors of the flowering trees.

  28. It’s the mountains for me!

  29. Mountains for sure! I love the changing weather and the smell of pines and seeing the new growth poke up through the snow. Boo boo? Sure you didn’t accidentally on purpose order an extra?

  30. I live in a tiny rural town in a high dessert valley (an hour from anything else). We are surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. I love the mountains with the cool mornings and evenings and warm spring days.

  31. I love them both but for right now I would have to say Spring by the Beach because I love waking up to the sound of the waves crashing and feeling like you are floating when you fall asleep after a day in the ocean! And the tropical flowers smell so good! Thanks for sharing this set with us Brian!

  32. I prefer “Spring by the Ocean”. Living in Northeastern US provides L-O-N-G cold winters and plenty of snow. By spring, I am definitely ready for splashing waves and the ocean breeze! Your creations here are lovely… Thank you for this generous giveaway!

  33. The mountains and the ocean are both special to me and so majestic. I don’t live near either one so being there is a treat! I have to choose the ocean and the expanse of sky and water. The fun and laughter of everyone on the beach is fantastic too. So nice to see so many happy people enjoying themselves.

  34. We’ve often gone to sit on a beach in the Spring when the temperatures are perfect. I love the mountains but the beach is my favorite!

  35. Brian, thank you for all of the wonderful content you share. I love your color combinations and your gorgeous card samples. I live between the mountains (12 miles) and the beach (60 miles) in southern California. I love the beach no matter what season it is, so I’ll say beach in spring!

  36. Brian, I just breezed on past the Vine Design bundle but WOW your card designs make me see it in a whole different way. Thanks for making several cards from one set to show it’s versatility.

  37. Spring by the ocean is my happy place. Here is a quote that helps me sum up my toes in the water, butt on the sand joy…
    LIFE
    Is like the ocean
It can be calm or still,
    And rough or rigid,
    But in the end
    It is always
    Beautiful 😍

  38. Awwww, my friend, you always show case your sets so BEAUITFUL,
I have done that twice Bobos, lol, I give them away too, to my stampin Sisters ,
    It makes me happy,
    Tfs hugs Frenchie ♥️

  39. This is an easy question for me to answer! I live about 20 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean so any get away is to the mountains of Pennsylvania. These past few months have had me just dreaming of my favorite places. Hopefully we’ll get to visit soon.

  40. There are no boo boos only creative alternatives!
I would choose the mountains—God’s beautiful scenery seen from a higher perspective! And making the climb is a great workout!

  41. I love the mountains AND the ocean but guess I would have to lean towards mountains cuz we are going to build a cabin in the mountains starting very soon. It will have moving water and that is my big requirement.

  42. Brian, since I haven’t experienced Spring in either location I can’t really choose, but the Viburnum bushes in my backyard smell beautiful in the spring so can I say…my backyard?? I knew you’d understand🙂

  43. I love spring in the mountains. I live in Southern California where it stays warm year round, but there is still snow in the mountains. I love the view, and it’s only an hour’s drive to the snow, or the beach. I’m originally from Oklahoma, where it was flat with no mountains. I’ve lived in California for over 30 years, but I’m still in awe of the mountains, and how the view changes every day. It is especially beautiful in the spring.

  44. Gayle Dobbs Lambert

Definitely the ocean! I’m far away now in Roatan on the ocean and am still reading your blog posts everyday.

  45. Such a pretty set! Love the fonts! Definitely the ocean!! So relaxing. Thank you, Brian

  46. by the ocean, of course. I just returned from a stay in Monteray California and it was beautiful. It was cold but that fresh ocean air is good for the mind and soul and of course the walks on the beach are amazing.

  47. The ocean renews my spirit!! And, Spring by the ocean is a double wave of renewal…pun (and fun!! Just stop!!!), but true:)

  48. Fortunately I live at sea level with a view of the water and the mountains an hours drive away. Spring is the time of renewal with all the flowers blooming and new leaves on the trees and we get to see it in all it’s glory on all levels.

  49. The ocean for a spring retreat!

  50. Oh boy, that was a little bit of a boo-boo! But, good for some lucky winner!! Sure hope it will be ME!! Love to check your blog daily to see what you are inspiring us to try. Love the In-Colors this season & can’t wait until I get my mitts on that new catalogue!! Thanks for the chance at a win!
