Brian’s Blog Candy Giveaway – Vine Design

I love to share Stampin’ Up!’s products with my blog readers, team members and customers. Today, I’m happy to share a super-fun Blog Candy Giveaway today with one lucky blog reader.

Blog Candy Giveaway

When I make a big mistake, my customers, team members or blog readers are often the beneficiaries of my big boo boo. When Vine Design was released in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog, I was immediately in love. I was SO in love with this bundle that I … wait for it … ordered it twice. Because of my big oops, one of my incredible blog readers is going to win this bundle (and a couple more goodies).

Here’s what’s included in this blog candy giveaway:

  • Vine Design stamp set
  • Flowering Vine Dies
  • An assortment of cards I’ve made
  • A couple of other surprises I’ll throw in at the last minute

Here’s a look at the Vine Design Bundle (which, incidentally, is still available for purchase):

The stamp set is pretty wonderful, but it’s the Flowering Vine Dies that make this bundle a must-have. Here’s a look at the projects I’ve shared with these dies (you can click on the photos to see the original post for each project):

How to Qualify for this Blog Candy Giveaway

To qualify for this Blog Candy Giveaway, please leave me a comment on this post and answer this question:

Spring – by the ocean or in the mountains?

I can go ahead and share my response to this question – I love the cool, crisp Spring air in the mountains by morning and the ocean at night! I know that’s not fair that I chose both when I’m asking you to pick one, but I make the rules here. πŸ™‚

I can only send product to residents of the United States, and I can only pick one winner. I can’t wait to see your responses! I’ll randomly choose a winner Friday evening and post the winner here.

While I Have Your Attention…

While you are still here, I would like to draw your attention to some big things happening this week:

In Color Bundles

With the launch of each Annual Catalog, I’m most excited about the newly released In Colors. I love the “getting to know you” part of our love affair, and I love sharing that journey with you. Since I know you will love the new In Colors as much as I do, I offer In Color Bundles with options for papers, inks, markers (and more) to complete your In Color collection.

I’ll be posting my In Color Bundles tomorrow – I hope you’ll come back to join in the fun! β™₯

Product Shares & Swatch Books

I rolled out my Product Shares and Designer Series Paper Swatch Books from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog earlier this week. I love hosting shares to give participants a chance to purchase a little bit of everything from a new catalog – the papers, ribbons and embellishments. I also make swatch books, which are a great reference tool when you are creating, organizing and sharing with Designer Series Papers.

  1. It’s spring at the ocean. Actually it’s any season by the ocean. Can you tell I live in a land locked state? It is something special when you can view the ocean.

  2. Love the ocean spring, summer or fall. I could enjoy the ocean anytime at all.

    • Although I have spent the last 2 springs in the mountains for the first time, I have to say that as beautiful as it is to watch the lupines start to bloom, I am a bit fearful of running into a bear or cougar (and I know they are there!) My heart will always remain by the ocean, where I grew up…I love the smells, sounds, and storms!

  3. Spring – by the ocean or in the mountains? If I have to choose one, I would go with the mountains. I love the fresh scent of spring in the mountains, and the joy of all the wildflowers to be seen along the way. I love to watch all the new life returning to the hillsides and mountain meadows. The new life of young life, from plants and birds, from dragonflies to bees to butterflies, to young animals is just incredible to watch.

  4. Brian you continue to inspire me with your beautiful cards, thank you!
I have to answer the mountains in spring time since we live near several, Mt. Rainier being the closest. All the colors in the wild flowers & greens of the many trees is breathtaking.

  5. I love spring and have never been to the beach this time of the year. I’m more mountains!

  6. I live on the Central Coast in California, between the ocean and the mountains. I choose the ocean in the spring because the beaches are less crowded and the mountains in the fall because of the color. Thanks for all your great inspirations and a chance to win this awesome blog candy.

  7. Spring by the ocean (in fact, if I could, I’d choose to be by the ocean every season…love the salt air, watching the dolphins, fishing, collecting seashells etc etc). Thanks for the generous giveaway!

  8. Spring in the mountains for sure! Too funny that you ordered the same item twice. I have done that a few times myself. My mom is usually the beneficiary of my mistake. And I have benefitted from her when she has done it too. Glad you are sharing your ooops with one of us. Thank you! That is very generous. Take care.

  9. Ha Ha! I love both ocean and mountains in the spring, but my first choice is….OCEAN!! sand and sea, how can you miss???

  10. I absolutely love the ocean any time of year. There is something so calming about listening to the waves crashing against the surf and digging your toes deep into the sand. Anytime I picture peace I think of the ocean.

  11. You were wise to prevaricate~there are so many among us who would choose both. I live in the mountains and revel in the rebirth of spring here, but I envy those who live on ANY body of water. A trip to the coast isn’t in my future this year but in my mind, I’m building sand castles and wading in the surf. Thanks for your generosity to your blog followers; quite the gift. Your are the best.

  12. What a fantastic giveaway! The possibilities are endless with this bundle. Your cards are beautiful.

  13. Spring – by the ocean ! Thanks for doing candy blogs! Have a great day.

  14. I lived in Naples, FL for 35 years near the Gulf of Mexico. Spring was always HOT. When I retired I moved to South Carolina near the Blue Ridge Mountains. Spring here brings cool mornings and warm afternoons. Who could ask for a more perfect spring!

  15. Spring-in the mountains!

  16. Missy Mountain, the lake is calling my name now. Can’t wait

  17. What a beautiful set for blog candy. Thank you Brian for offering such wonderful candies. Love your cards and blog.

  18. Shawn Marie O'Connell

These are gorgeous projects! I would say, Spring in the mountains. It’s incredible to see all the trees and plants coming to life again. Thanks for the opportunity to win! I’ve made a few accidental, over-excited purchases myself over the years!! hahaha!

  19. I would have to pick the ocean 🌊! I love the sand, the sound of the waves crashing, the salt you can taste. Give me a chair and a good book and I could sit there for hours!

  20. Spring-in a hot tub on the porch overlooking the Smokey Mountains sounds close to heaven to me! Love the amazing dies in this set. They are stunning and the sentiments are classic.

  21. Year round in the mountains. May 1st I will be moving to a mountain town as my permanent residence!

  22. I live in Central CA so a perfect spring day would be an early morning walk on the beach, a drive to the mountains and an afternoon hike near snowline.

  23. Spring by the Ocean! I love the ocean from the balcony of an “Ocean Front Hotel” or the deck of a house right on the beach. I got my cozy sweatshirt on a gentle breeze is blowing and I am sipping my morning coffee or tea! No crowds, no heat, no sand, just the serene setting!!! Ahhhh!

  24. In the mountains. It would be great to see all the wild flowers in bloom. Thanks for another give away.

  25. Love your blog and your cards. For me, it’s the mountains! I love seeing all that the mountains have to offer (except the bears!).

  26. Ocean!! Walking the beach on a sunny day, so relaxing!

  27. Brian-Great cards. I love them all. Definitely the mountains for me! No need to include me in the give-a-way, I already have this amazing set, but I just wanted to in on the fun!!! Have a blessed day!

  28. Walking on the beach with no crowds!!!
Love the dies in this set.

  29. Definitely the ocean. It’s just so calming to take a stroll on the beach or sit and watch the waves. Love the dies especially in this set. Thanks for the chance to win.

  30. I love being by the ocean but I think my choice would be Spring in the Mountains since I already live close to the ocean.

  31. We live an hour’s drive from either the ocean or mountains. If it’s Spring we must stick to, I choose both. ( I know it’s allowed because someone else important in this endeavor said we could.) The mountains here are abloom with amazing color and the waterfalls full of snowmelt are spectacular. The ocean is always wonderful any time of the year.

  32. Hi! I always choose ocean life…spring, summer, winter, fall! Thank you!

  33. I love them both!!! There is nothing more beautiful than waking up to see the ocean! God made a beautiful for all of us to enjoy!

  34. Love walking along the beach with the ocean tickling my toes! Hope your boo-boo end up being my good luck. Thxs for the giveaway & all the wonderful daily inspiration.

  35. Always lots of comments when you have a giveaway Brian. LOL I love the mountains in the spring however, if my name wins please pull another name as I already own your boo boo set. I did enjoy the “parade” today.

  36. Spring β€” by the ocean or in the mountains? What a challenging decision! Even though I love the budding trees, beautiful spring wildflowers, and hearing the songs of a variety of birds in the mountains, I still would choose spring by the ocean. Walking along the shore, hearing the sounds of the waves, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the limitless views of water and sky all seem like the perfect way to enjoy a spring day 😊. Thanks so much for the blog candy giveaway as well as for the daily gifts of creativity and inspiration that you share!!

  37. I really can’t decide! I’ll have to flip a coin!

  38. Spring! Time for the mountains and all the beautiful hillside wildflowers the season brings! Love your blog, Brian! xoxo

  39. We’re very fortunate here in Southern California…Ocean and mountains are very close, but if I HAVE to choose, I think I choose the beach! Blue skies, ocean sounds and gorgeous weather!

  40. I love going to the mountains!

  41. Mountains, mountains, mountains! Born and raised in the mountains. Don’t get me wrong the beach is nice, too. *But* I am a mountain girl through and through! Thanx Brian for all of the inspiration.

  42. I would choose spring in the mountains. πŸ™‚ Thanks for the giveaway!

  43. I grew up close to the ocean and the mountains but the ocean is my favorite. The soothing sound of the waves always brings me peace.

  44. Spring by… the mountains! Thank you for the opportunity to win a beautiful set. Love your cards and sense of humor. Happy crafting!
    -Kate (Ohio)

  45. It seems the best of both worlds would be to go to Hawaii which has mountains and ocean in one place. If I must choose one it would be mountains as I live on the plains.

  46. Sherran Mulvehill

I love Spring by the ocean, but Spring by the mountains would be nice. I love to see all the new spring flowers and different colors. The fluttering butterflies and birds singing!

  47. That is a tough choice but since I was raised far away from an ocean I will have to choose Mountains. I love the flowers in the spring but my absolute favorite from the mountains are morel mushrooms. I can tromp around for hours looking for these with a watering mouth. Thanks for all you do for us card making readers.

  48. Spring by the Ocean … Make sure to bundle up as the wind off of our New England waters will always make it feel so much colder !!!

  49. Selina S Kilpatrick

I love them both, but I think the Mountains win out in Spring (or Fall), I’ll take the ocean in the summer!

  50. Hi Brian
I would love Spring by the Ocean with the peace and sound of the rolling waves
    Thanks,Dawn
