I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. Since the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper first became available in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog, I have reached for it often. Such a fun pack of papers – the pages are filled with the ice cream goodness, but they are versatile to be used for so much more. I’m excited to share a bit more about this pack of papers today.
I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper:
These pages are a mix of beautiful and fun – I love each and very page in this pack. Don’t you love it?! The pack includes Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Purple Posy, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam, Terracotta Tile and White.

I have loved working with this paper. I love the colors and patterns – a great mix for great papers. Here are some of my projects with the pages from the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (you can click on each photo to read the original post about each project):
It’s easy to incorporate these pages into your projects because the gorgeous prints are so versatile. They can be really fun to work with – especially when you add other colors to the colors found in the paper. Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.
Straight from the Papers
These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this pack of the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper – such a sophisticated variety of colors in this pack of papers:
Combined with Other Colors
By adding one other color to the shades in these papers, you can really transform the feel of the pages – or create all new combinations with inspiration from the paper. Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:
By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.
I hope you find this helpful, I and I hope some of these combinations inspire you. Please save any (or all of these) to Pinterest for future reference. To follow me on Pinterest, please click here: follow me on Pinterest.
If you love the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper as much as I do, I hope you’ll check out the Ice Cream Corner Suite of products that coordinates with it – while you might think it’s perfect for a birthday, these pages can be used for so much more!
