With Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper Sale going on, I feel the need to dive into some of the papers I purchased but haven’t really showcased in all their glory. The first paper I reached for is the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper – such a beautiful mix of patterns and colors. Here’s a simple card I made, using mostly the pages of this pack of papers:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Pansy Petals. I built my card’s design with four pages from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. The papers are such a beautiful mix of soft and bold colors and patterns. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper:
The flowers on my card are cropped from the first page shown above. The leaves are cropped from the seventh page. The gingham panel is cut from the twelfth page, and the larger panel is cut from the fourth page. The colors work so wonderfully together. This paper is currently 15% off – click on the image below to see all of the papers in my online store:
- Pansy Patch. There are SO MANY ways to showcase the Pansy Patch Bundle – not only can you stamp flowers and crop them with the coordinating Pansy Dies, but you can build flowers with just the dies. In addition, there are some great sentiments in this set. Here’s a look at the Pansy Patch Bundle:
I used the Pansy Dies to crop the flowers and leaves on my card from pages of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper – and added the sweet sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set.
- Color Combination. There are so many great colors in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (they are all listed above). While my card pulls in the greens and pink from the papers, I built my design around the purples and yellow from the paper. The Bumblebee centers of the flowers pull in the color from the larger panel beneath. If you like this mix of Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Bumblebee as much as I do, I hope you will save this for future reference:
Bundles: Pansy PatchĀ Stamp Sets: Pansy PatchĀ Papers: Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, Blackberry Bliss, Thick Basic WhiteĀ Inks: Blackberry BlissĀ Accessories: Pansy Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Don’t you love these pansies? So many great ways to make so many different projects!
