You’re My Cup of Tea

Today’s card is a CASE of a card I shared with you last year. When we CASE (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit), we find inspiration in a project – theme, color combinations, layout, products used – and create our own project by making changes to make it our own.  When CASEing, it’s important to give credit to the original designer – it doesn’t take away from your project at all. Here’s my card:

  • Brew Some Fun. Coffee and tea sets are always popular – there’s something about a cup of tea, cocoa or coffee that feels so universal. While Brew Some Fun is a new stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog, it’s designed to coordinate with the Warm Wraps Dies that have carried over from last year’s Holiday Catalog (and replaces the Warm Hugs stamp set that has retired). Here’s a look at the Brew Some Fun stamp set: Brew Some Fun, Stampin Up!, 154528And here’s a look at the coordinating dies, which you might already have from last year: Warm Wraps Dies, Stampin Up!, 153521Not only do these dies coordinate with the images in the Brew Some Fun stamp set, but they also build wraps (sleeves) for the Mini Coffee Cups, which are perfect for gift giving during the Holidays. Here’s a closer look at the focal point of this card that showcases these dies: Brew Some Fun, Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian King
  • Hand-Penned. With Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper Sale going on, it’s hard to NOT use some of the amazing papers in my projects. Here’s a look at the gorgeous colors and patterns in this pack of papers:Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155499I pulled the first design show above for my tea-themed card because of the warm Cinnamon Cider flowers showcased in the page – so beautiful. Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper is just one of nine papers from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog that are currently marked 15% off. • Warm Color Combination. I pulled three colors from the gorgeous panel of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for my card. I love this mix of warm brown and the mix of greens – so beautiful! If you like this mix of Cinnamon Cider, Mint Macaron and Garden Green as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:Stampin Up!
