Warm Christmas Wishes with 2 Sneak Peeks

I’m not yet ready to jump into Christmas projects, but my pre-order from Stampin’ Up!’s July – December Mini Catalog arrived – and I couldn’t NOT play. The “Holiday Mini Catalog” goes live for customers on August 3, and copies will be sorted and mailed to my customers as soon as they arrive at my house next week. Here’s a card that showcases two new stamp sets in the new catalog:

Encircled in Warmth, Candy Canes, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas cardIsn’t that sentiment gorgeous?! It’s from a new stamp set called Encircled in Warmth – a set with five sentiments (four are designed to coordinate with the Encircled in Beauty Dies from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog, but they also work great with our Layering Circles Dies). Here’s a look at this new stamp set:

Encircled in Warmth, Stampin Up! 156449How fun! I love the font used to build this circular sentiment. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment on my card front (I cropped it with the Layering Circles Dies and added a layer of vellum behind it:

Encircled in Warmth, Candy Canes, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas cardThe backdrop for my sentiment is build with four 1-3/4″ squares. I glued these panels together and then used my Stamparatus to stamp the Candy Canes background stamp at once over the full panel with Real Red ink. Here’s a look at the Candy Canes background stamp set:

Candy Canes, Stampin Up! 156373Behind the candy canes is a panel of Just Jade cardstock I embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder – a favorite of mine to add a little texture without steering attention away from my focal images.

We are so accustomed to Old Olive, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce for Christmas Greens. Just Jade offers such a beautiful softness on this Christmas card when paired with Real Red. I love it! If you like this mix of Basic White, Just Jade and Real Red as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

What do you think? I’ll be sharing more sneak peeks over the coming weeks while continuing those showcase some of my new favorites from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog.
