So Glad It’s Your Birthday with Counting Sheep

While we are making our Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas projects for the upcoming holidays, I’d like to offer a kind reminder that friends and family will also have birthdays over the next several months. You might think it’s fun to send a jack-o-lantern card to someone whose birthday is in October, but you have so many other ways to make their special day feel special. Today I’m sharing a birthday tag I made with the Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep Dies. Here’s my tag:

Today’s tag uses two LEVEL ONE products – the Counting Sheep Cling Stamp Set and the Sheep Dies. I was SHOCKED to see that the dies were a LEVEL ONE item, but they are! ♥ Here’s a look at these coordinating products:

The tag I created is built on the largest tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies, new in the 2021 Annual Catalog, and the sentiment was cropped with the Double Oval Punch. Other than those, all of the other shapes and cutouts comes from the Sheep Dies. Such fun with some great details. Here’s a closer look at the colors and dimension on my tag:

Here are colors I used on this bright-and-cheery tag:

• Balmy Blue – the base of the tag, cropped with the Tailor Made Tags Dies
• Just Jade – I cropped the tag with Just Jade and cut it at an angle before gluing it to the Balmy Blue tag
• Melon Mambo – the round balloon at the top and the round sentiment at the bottom are cropped from Melon Mambo cardstock
• Basic Black – I cropped the balloon with Basic Black and added the Melon Mambo balloon
• Crumb Cake – how gorgeous is this fence? It had to be Crumb Cake.
• Daffodil Delight – is there any other color for the sun?
• White – the clouds and sheep are white, of course. I added Pale Papaya and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to the sweet sheep.
