Peppermint Kisses

I’ve made three sugary-sweet tags to share with you today – and they feature a stamp I never thought I’d use. Here’s a look at these super-cute, peppermint-filled tags:

Frosted Gingerbread Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian King, Christmas tagsWhile each of the three tags uses the same elements, I’ve changed up the layouts between the three tags. On one, the sentiment is centered at a diagonal along the vertical tag. On another, the sentiment hangs off the right side. On the third, the sentiment is positioned in the center of the horizontal tag. Peppermints fill in the empty spaces.

The peppermints on my tags and the sentiments on the tags are from the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle. While the gorgeous stars, bells, ornaments and snowflakes are at the center of this set, the peppermints really stole my heart (I always root for the underdog). Let’s take a quick look at the bundle:

Frosted Gingerbread Bundle, Stampin Up!, 156807When I purchased this set, I knew I would have no occasion to use the “Sending You Peppermint Kisses” sentiment – how it the world would that ever be useful?! Well, I found a reason. These little tags, which will accompany some delicious homemade goodies, will give me the perfect sentiment for the tag. I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink on Pool Party cardstock and cropped them with (what I recognize as I write this post) a retired punch – but I COULD have used the Label Me Fancy Punch. 🙂

Here’s what really drew me to the peppermints in this set – there are three peppermints on one stamp and a single die that can cut out all three in one pass through my Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. That allowed me to make A LOT of peppermints for my projects. Here’s a look:

Each of the tags is cropped with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and topped with Pool Party 3/8″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog that are tied with white baker’s twine. Here’s a look at the must-have Tailor Made Tags from Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog:
