Thank You with Blessings of Home

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators have enjoyed a weekend full of sneak peeks, inspiration and great business training during our OnStage event (I shared a little bit about it in yesterday’s post – you can see that here).

Before OnStage, those who registered received a free bundle with some great coordinating accessories. I’ve made a card with the Blessings of Home Bundle (a new item in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog) to share with you today. Here’s my card:

Here’s a look at the new bundle, which includes the Blessings of Home Cling Stamp Set and the coordinating Flowers of Home Dies:

While there were several brilliant ways to add color to these flowers in the OnStage presentations (sponge daubers, Stampin’ Blends or water coloring are great techniques), I chose to stamp my flower arrangement with Basic Gray and then…leave it alone. Bold, I know. I added touches of pink around it to soften the appeal of the card a bit. I added a Petal Pink panel in the background of my card and “recalled” the Petal Pink with a little banner behind my sentiment – here’s a closer look:

I accented my bundle with a buffalo check strip from the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper. It might retire with the end of the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog, but I won’t let that stop me from using it up. It’s quite beautiful with these flowers, don’t you think? Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper (while several of these patterns can extend beyond the holidays, I particularly love the buffalo check (the last pattern on the top row below):

Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 156394The grays on my card are a beautiful mix of grays (Smoky Slate is cold, while Basic Gray is warm). They are both softened with the accents of Petal Pink. If you like the elegant mix of Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

  1. Bold in deed Brian, leaving the flower uncolored! It absolutely works!
The multi-layering and the color grey is perfect, which enhances the flower.

    • Thanks, Sonny! I will definitely explore some of the ways to add color to the flowers, but I really enjoy them as a stamped (and uncolored) image. Thanks! ♥
