Paper Pumpkin Alternatives – Gifts Galore

Yesterday I hosted my monthly Zoom call with my Paper Pumpkin customers – during our Pumpkin in the Fungeon call, I share some fun ideas with the items included in the monthly kit, and my customers share their brilliant ideas. It’s always such fun to see what others are making and to spend that time with my customers who participate. I hosted a similar call with my InKing Royalty team members to share with them, too. Such fun!

Pumpkin in the Fungeon, Brian KingToday I’m sharing some alternative projects with this months’ Gifts Galore kit – a unique kit for holiday treat boxes. Here’s a look a the finished projects from the November 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit:

November 2021 Paper Pumpkin KitCute, right?! As designed for the kit, there are two images on either side of a little box with treat bags that can be filled with goodies for perfectly sweet gifts. The large tree, snowman and stack of gifts are perfectly adorable and festive.

Here’s a look at the stamp set that came with the other elements of this kit:

Gifts Galore Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, November 2021Treat Bag

Who doesn’t love peppermint white chocolate truffles? I filled one of the nine gusseted, snowflake bags in this kit with Lindt Lindor Truffles and capped the bag with a simple bag topper. Here’s a look:

I simply folded it in half and stapled it to the bag. The sentiment and striped band come from the stamp set in the Gifts Galore kit (don’t you love both of them?!), and I tied it off with some of the Poppy Parade and white baker’s twine that came with the kit. Here’s a look at the Seasonal Labels Dies (part of the Christmas Season Bundle):

I used a gift bag for the next two projects, too. I followed the alternative projects suggested by Stampin’ Up! to add a gift card holder to the large stack of presents by snipping 3″ from the bottom of the gusseted bag and attaching it to the presents with the tear-and-tape that was provided in the kit. Such a clever way to give a special gift:

The snowflake covered (and glossy) panel is topped with a sentiment I stamped with the included stamp set. So festive!

There was no way I was going to let this stamp set go unused. With a Basic White Note Card as a base, I created this fun card by stamping the gift box design in a geometric pattern on my card:

I cropped a piece of the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and added it to the flap of my envelope for a more complete look.

  5. Love your alternatives. You like to talk about sending you could hard cash. Well, I think I would enjoy one of these fun alternative gifts! (Hint!) One of my favorite things about the PP stamps. Oh what fun it truly is! Happy holidays everyone.

  6. Best alternatives I’ve seen yet for this month’s PP kit. Especially LOVE the geometric stipes idea. That chevron is one of your trademark designs. If anyone CASES it, the recipient ought to know immediately the source of the design aesthetic: The King!
