Sneak Peek: Hello Ladybug

There’s a phrase I hear a lot from customers, coworkers and friends – “I’m sorry to bug you, but…”. What’s funny about that phrase is that they are almost NEVER bugging me – I’m happy to engage in whatever question or request they are making. Still, I quite like the request that comes with such a soft, sweet request for my time or attention. Today’s card is a great response to a friendly request…it’s a simple card that combines some exceptional products. Here’s my card:

Hello Ladybug Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian KingIt’s not a secret that I love my Designer Series Papers and my stamp/punch bundles. This card combines them both in a simple layout that makes me very happy.

Here’s a look at the Hello Ladybug Bundle, which includes the Hello Ladybug photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch:

Hello Ladybug Bundle, Stampin Up! 157693The body of the ladybug is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Thick Basic White and cropped with the punch. The wings are stamped with Real Red ink on Thick Basic White, and the dots are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The wings are also punched with the Ladybug Builder Punch. Here’s a closer look at my finished ladybug:

Hello Ladybug Bundle, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe focal panel of my card features two panels of Designer Series Paper – one of my all-time favorite Designer Series Papers that’s sold out from the current Mini Catalog and my favorite pack of Designer Series Papers from the Annual Catalog.

Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the just-retired Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (if you have some extra sheets of this paper, set it aside to use with your ladybugs this Spring):

Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 153492The dotted paper along the right side of the focal panel (the dots work well with the ladybug, don’t they?) is from the INCREDIBLE Host pack of Designer Series Papers in the 2021 Annual Catalog that can be selected with Stampin’ Rewards from a $150+ order. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Pattern Party pack of papers:
