I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas. Whether you are away to celebrate with family or nestled in the comfort of your own home, I hope the today brings you joy and peace. While I have shared many Christmas cards over the past several months (and shared a parade of those cards with you yesterday – click here), today I’m sharing the sweet, simple card I made to send to my team members, customers, friends and family this year. Here’s my card:
While some of my top customers received one of the full-sized cards I made during the year and shared on my blog, most of my customers and my direct team members received this notecard-sized beauty. The card showcases a beautiful tree from the Christmas Tree Dies, which have now sold out and retired from Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. I used the same tree on this project, which I shared back in August:
On the card above, I cropped my tree with Shaded Spruce and Pear Pizzazz and then pieced in the cutouts for a very green evergreen. When I cropped the white tree on my Christmas card and place it against a Mossy Meadow backdrop, the tree is transformed into a snow-covered evergreen. Such fun!
The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Christmas to Remember stamp set, which will be returning in next year’s Holiday Mini Catalog. If you don’t yet have it, now might be a good time to pick it up so you can get an early start on next year’s card:
When I make multiples of a project (and I made many of this card), I like to line them up and snap a picture before I ship them off. Here’s my infinity shot of this year’s Christmas card:
My card is built around three of my all-time favorite colors in one of my all-time favorite color combinations. If you like this combination of Pool Party, Real Red and Mossy Meadow as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
Stamp Sets: Christmas to Remember Papers: Notecards & Envelopes, Mossy Meadow, Pool Party, Thick Basic White Inks: Real Red Accessories: Christmas Tree Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
I hope your entire weekend is wonderful and that you find a little time to make something beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Brian
