A Friendly Hello for The Best Birthday

Sale-a-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s two-month sales event where customers can choose free, exclusive products for buying the products they already love. The event runs until February 28, 2022. I’m celebrating Sale-a-Bration today, but I’m also celebrating my Mom on her very special birthday. Here’s Mom’s birthday card I made with an incredible Sale-a-Bration bundle you’re going to want in your craft room:

My card features two panels of Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Friendly Hello Bundle, which can be selected with a $100 order during Sale-a-Bration. The pack of Designer Series Paper beautifully coordinates with the photopolymer stamp set. Here’s a look at this exclusive Sale-a-Bration Bundle:

The Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper features a gorgeous variety of colors: Basic Black, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce. While the papers I chose for Mom’s card feature Pool Party and Petal Pink, I pulled in Shaded Spruce with ink and cardstock.

I wasn’t overjoyed by this birthday sentiment in the stamp set until I stamped it – the very moment the rich ink transferred to my paper, I was in love! I cropped the sentiment with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (I love the embossed frame around the shape of this die. Here’s a closer look:

To build this card, I just kept adding layers and shapes with the coordinating colors until I found the balance I wanted. If you like this mix of Petal Pink, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
