Today I’m sharing a sweet-and-simple card with some incredible, new products and a fun look at a different way to use them. My card features the Amazing Thanks Dies (new in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog) and a gorgeous panel of paper from the Simply Marbelous 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (available during Sale-a-Bration in January and February). Here’s a look at my card:
The focal point of this card is the sentiment at the center. “Amazing” is cropped with the Amazing Thanks Dies, a must-have from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. I love these dies! The dies are sold separately or as a part of the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle. Here’s a look at this bundle:
While the dies in this bundle are designed to layer on top of each other (the thin “amazing” layers right over the thick “amazing”), I tried a little something different on my card. Here’s a look at a card I shared last year that layers “thanks” the way these dies were designed to work (you can click on the image below to see the original post for this project):
On the card I made to share with you today, I cropped the thick “amazing” into the Coastal Cabana panel of cardstock, glued that panel to the white base below it and then adhered the thin “amazing” inside the cutout. Instead of popping up this sentiment, it’s inlaid in the focal panel. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment on today’s card:
I stamped “YOU’RE” from Create with Friends, snipped it out and popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals – it’s a perfect addition to the “amazing” die-cut, don’t you think?
The backdrop for my sentiment is a marble-like panel of Coastal Cabana paper from the Simply Marbleous 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-Bration option you can pick up with a $50 order. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this pack of papers:
This pack of papers includes 48 pages (8 each of six double-sided designs). One side of each page features a marble print, and one side of each page features a silky print. So much texture in these papers!
