Don’t you love a little jig when something great happens? Happy dances can happen in private (a little hip shaking when you receive good news on a phone call) or in a group (shaking a tail feather on a dance floor at a wedding). I might dance a little when I benefit from good news, but it’s more exciting to celebrate someone else’s good fortune. The card I’m sharing today showcases many happy things – a bright rainbow, a fun layout and new products. Here’s my card:
This sweet card is constructed with the same layout at the card I shared with you on Monday (this one opens like a book, so you can’t see the back flap of the card above) – here’s a look at Monday’s card (you can click on the image if you want to see that post):
I used 3″ square pieces of All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for the focal point of both cards, and I added a 2″ strip of another pattern on both. I also added three Classic Matte Dots below the larger squares on each card. The main difference between these two cards is that I added a small frame around the large square on today’s card and offset the frame around the smaller square on Monday’s card. The colors and themes are also (obviously) different, too.
The arched print and 2″ black panel on my card are pulled from the All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, which was released by Stampin’ Up! yesterday. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this amazing pack of papers:
Here’s a closer look at the arched pattern (10th pattern along the bottom row of the photo above) I showcased on my card:
While these arched bands can be colored with any variety of colors or tones, I chose to build a rainbow of vibrant colors – perhaps I was inspired by all the rainbow goodness in the Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration or maybe it just made sense. Here are the Stampin’ Blends colors I used to build my ROYGBIV rainbow:
- Red – Light Poppy Parade
- Orange – Dark Pale Papaya
- Yellow – Light Daffodil Delight
- Green – Light Granny Apple Green
- Blue – Light Balmy Blue
- Indigo – Light Blackberry Bliss
- Violet – Dark Fresh Freesia
My sentiment, from Flowing Flowers, fit perfectly inside the Cloud Punch (I’ve used this punch so much more than I expected I would). Here’s a look at this stamp set, new in the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog:
And here’s a look at the Cloud Punch, also new in the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog:

That’s such a cute card! Thanks for sharing.
A 2nd perfect card from a great layout. Always love when you color DSP. Thanks for the never-ending inspiration.
So colorful and happy ! Plus that Cloud Punch is the CUTEST ! Just got mine last week and love it !
Love all your colors ….such a fun card !
Love that sentiment (on the cloud) with the rainbow behind! So cool!
Hello…this vibrant colorful card got my attention this morning! Brian it calls for a Happy Dance in deed!
Fun card. I am just trying to figure out the dance steps you are trying out on us! Maybe a little rumba or cha cha? OK now you have convinced me I need this DSP and that cloud punch. I need to place a big order for myself and I am cringing on how much it will cost. I don’t think my husband will be doing a happy dance when he finds out!
This card is so bright and happy it definitely makes you want to do a happy dance!
Love all three layouts! Just wondering if you could provide the measurements for all the layers? Would love to CASE this layout!
Thanks Brian!
