Here for You

I’ve shared a lot of love-themed cards this week to help prepare you for Valentine’s Day (which is just around the corner). Today’s card is also filled with love – perhaps they are not the same as romantic love, but encouragement and support are important displays of love from one person to another. I’ve accented this sentiment with a gorgeous abstract pattern. Here’s my card:

Here for You Dies, Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, Brian KingThe sentiment at the heart of this card is a single die from the Here for You Dies, part of the new collection of products that were released this past week. The Here for You Dies are sold separately or as a part of the Here Together Bundle – and there are so many other great products in this collection. Here’s a look at the Here Together Bundle:

All Together BannerI glued the sentiment (cropped from Basic Black cardstock) to a 2-5/8″ x 3-3/8″ panel of Smoky Slate cardstock and framed it with another piece of Basic Black. I popped that up over a 3-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ panel of Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper that I love so much. Just look at the shine from the gold foil:

Despite the modern print on this page, the pattern works so well for a soft “here for you” greeting. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 158039 While I added the layers of my card onto a Basic Gray card base, it’s the mix of Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate and Basic Black at the heart of the card that I love so much. Even though Smoky Slate isn’t represented in the Abstract Beauty papers, the watercolored spots take on a Smoky Slate tone, making it a perfect accent for this panel. If you like this mix of colors as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
