I don’t need the Farmer’s Almanac to tell me that daffodils are going to be really big this Spring – I learned everything I need to know about daffodils in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog and accompanying January – February 2022 Sale-a-Bration Brochure. Here’s a card I made with daffodils from both of these new books:
The Daffodil Daydream Bundle features two bundles of daffodils that can be stamped and colored. The coordinating Daffodil Dies can be used to crop these flowers and can also be used to build beautiful flowers without stamps and ink. What fun! Here’s a look at the Daffodil Daydream Bundle, which includes the Daffodil Daydream cling stamp set and coordinating Daffodil Dies:
I love both of the stamped flowers in the set. When I couldn’t decide which flowers to showcase on today’s card, I opted to showcase both. I stamped the flowers on Thick Very Vanilla, colored them with Stampin’ Blends and then glued them on top of each other. I colored my flowers and butterflies with a mix of So Saffron, Old Olive and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. I added a Flirty Flamingo butterfly to pull in pink from the background paper. Here’s a closer look:
The panels behind my daffodils are pulled from the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, one of the products you can select for free with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-a-Bration. These papers are GORGEOUS! While there are a lot of daffodils, daisies and other flowers on the pages of these papers, I showcased two pages with no flowers. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Daffodil Afternoon pack of papers:
The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Create with Friends stamp set – I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on So Saffron cardstock to tie in with my flowers and the panel of So Saffron I added behind the focal panel.
My card balances three Spring-perfect colors that work so well together – a yellow, an orange, a green and a pink. If you like this mix of So Saffron, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz and Flirty Flamingo as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Love the mix of pattern DSP papers on this card as well as the color combo. And using both daffodil images punches up the focal point in a way I wouldn’t have thought possible. Great creative move!
