What’s Cookin’?

You’ve not stepped into a French bistro – it’s just a picture of the card I made to share with you today. I cropped the cutting board and kitchen tools with the Cookin’ Dies and positioned them on the black-and-white gingham backdrop for a card that can touch the heart of anyone who bakes or cooks (or enjoys delicious things that come out of kitchens). Here’s my card:

Why did I reach for the What’s Cookin’ Bundle? I’ve played with this bundle multiple times over the past year, but this is the first time I’ve shared a project on my blog. During the month of March, the What’s Cookin’ Bundle is 20% off (vs. the normal 10% off) – and that’s too good to pass up. Here’s a look at the What’s Cookin’ Bundle:

What's Cookin' Bundle, Stampin Up! 155845During the “Savings in Bloom” promotion, Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is marked 20% off – from $60.00 to $48.00. What a deal! If you’ve been eyeing this little machine (if you haven’t, you should be), now’s the perfect time to pop that little guy into your shopping cart. Select bundles (like the one I’m showcasing today) are also discounted – good times!

I love all of these dies – they are perfect for a new home gift, a baker or a barbecue. The detail on the cutting board is amazing. Here’s a closer look:

The black-and-white check print panel is pulled from the AMAZING Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, one of the Host Options in Stampin’ Up!’s 2021 Annual Catalog. I LOVE this paper and need to find reasons to stock up before it goes away at the end of this catalog period. I’m going to tell you a little bit more about this paper, but first here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper:

Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155426When you place an order over $150, you earn Stampin’ Rewards (at least 10% of your purchase) in free product of your choice. You can choose Pattern Party as your host option for $18 of Stampin’ Rewards, which is a steal because here’s what you get with this pack of papers:

  • 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double-sided designs
  • 4 each of 12 designs, which makes this paper perfect for making multiples of a design
  • One side of each page is black and white, while the other side is colorful and vibrant
  • A $30 value that’s available with $18 of Stampin’ Rewards

It’s about time I used Pool Party again…it rolled out of my repertoire for a while, and I couldn’t NOT use it here. If you like this mix of Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Basic Black as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

  10. Shortly before dinner is ready to put on the table, The Hubs saunters out to the kitchen and says “what’cha got cookin?”. This card would be perfect for him to turn into a sign and hang it from the refrigerator so he doesn’t have to bother to walk out to the kitchen.

Great card Brian. Fun, pretty and oh so perfectly laid out. Love it.
