Well, I’ve done it now! I’ve cut into the first page of Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog – there’s no turning back. Today I’m sharing a sweet “get well” card with the first new bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog – the Cup of Tea Bundle – and am featuring a beautiful page from the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and a design from the 2022-2024 In Color 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Such a fun combination! Here’s my 4″ square card:
The tea cup, lemon and tag at the center of this card come from the Cup of Tea Bundle, which includes the Cup of Tea Photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Teacup Dies. Here’s a look at the Cup of Tea Bundle, which give you a 10% discount when you buy both at the same time:
As this is the first bundle in the new catalog (and because it’s wonderful), I’m certain the Cup of Tea Bundle will be one of the most popular in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. Part of that [inevitable] popularity can be attributed to the gorgeous patterns and colors in the coordinating Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:
I used the fifth pattern shown above on my card (they are all beautiful, so I literally just had to pick one).
The teacup and lemon are each built with two layers from the Teacup Dies. I built these layers just like I built the flowers on a card I shared a week ago (you can see that post here) – I ran my ink pads over the coordinating cardstock to achieve a richer concentration of color. I cropped the detailed images with the inked cardstock and the base images with the cardstock. This really adds something special to these beautiful images. What do you think?
I’m head-over-heals in love with Parakeet Party – I’m reaching for it A LOT. If you like this mix of Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party and Garden Green as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Love the Garden Green and Parakeet layering for the tea cup!
Thanks, Mary! I’ve mostly looked at other bright colors that look great with Parakeet. So happy to see how well it pairs with some rich colors, too.
Love everything about this card Brian.
Awww…thank you so much, Faith! ā„
So cute ! Perfect color selection that is bright and trendy ! You could call them refreshing !! Smile !!
I think this set will be on my next order .
I was not immediately sure I’d love this set, but I really enjoyed working with it – and as I played, I had so many other ideas. Yay!
Love your card and it would make anyone feel better. I was at a loss with this piece of DSP, now you’ve shown me the way! Thanks.
š Happy to show you the way. I loved this page because it was dainty enough to not take attention away from the teacup. Glad you like it, Wendie!
Oooooo that green! This is so bright and pretty!
I love Parakeet Party – but I was exceptionally happy to see how it worked with Garden Green. ā„
All that’s missing from this picture is a scone or crumpet! LOL I love drinking tea, especially when sharing a cup with a friend. I agree that this set will be very, very
popular this year, especially if you keep making such bright and cheerful cards to show it off. Lovely card Brian………………….
Thanks so much, Grace! I dipped a biscuit in the tea, but it fell in – you just can’t see that from the picture. š I’m so glad you like the card – it was fun to play with the bundle and paper. ā„
Such a sweet card, Brian. I too, had to have this bundle first on my pre-order list. I’ve made 3 cards already, and haven’t even used the dies yet. The papers speak for themselves; the dies are amazing and the stamp set has the best fonts! I love your inspiration! Thanks for sharing…
Thanks so much, Bobbi! I can’t wait to hear what you think when you play with the dies. They are pretty spectacular! So glad you are having fun with the bundle and papers – how could you not?!
Such a bright and cheerful card with all that green. I have used Parakeet Party a few times now and really like!
Pretty wonderful, right?! I was happy to see how perfect Parakeet Party and Garden Green played with one another. So glad you like it, too!
Sure to make anyone feel better. TFS!
Thanks so much, Kadie! It made me feel better, and I’ve not been sick. š
Oh. My. Word. That juicy green is gorgeous!!
Isn’t it beautiful?! Thank you so much, Melanie! ā„
Your card today is delightful! Its colors are so fresh and soothing just like a cup of tea. Iām going to remember this color combination. Well done!
Thank you so much, Sharon! I knew I wanted to use Parakeet Party when I started to make this card, but I didn’t know how important Garden Green would be. I, too, love them together. So glad you like my card! ā„
Your card is very sweet with the pretty colors and the sweet sentiments. The DSP is great! Enjoy your day!
Thank you so much, Hilda! This set proved far more beautiful than I expected it would be. So glad you like it and hope your day has been wonderful! ā„
Awesome colour combination Brian! Love the bold beautiful teacup! Thx for the inspiration š
When I saw this card, my first thought was which dark color you used with Parakeet Party. Before now I had only considered Granny Apple Green. THAT was my best take away from your pretty card:)
Those two greens together are gorgeous? What an inspiration!
